I think Rick knows if he provokes Negan, it would be too easy for his guys to kill Daryl. He needs to rescue Daryl before he provokes Negan. I am still baffled by what Kirkman was thinking when he wrote the comics (which I never read). It seems to me that he decided Rick is no longer the star; Negan is. Does that make sense? It reminds me of old Clint Eastwood movies. Dirty Harry or the Man With No Name always start off as powerful and invincible. Then the villain comes along and knocks him down. We spend the rest of the story waiting for Clint to get strong again and get revenge. It makes that final moment all the better. I think that's what is happening here, its just going to take longer. Rick is still the main character, but they want us to be really mad by the time he finally takes Negan down.

The longer I wait, the bigger the cheer will be when Rick takes Negan down.

We need a win. Even a small one. I'm hoping they'll give us one by the midseason break.

Maggie is strong but it is wonderful Sasha is staying with her. Enid must also feel a bond with Maggie.
That Gregory is a douche and I think he really was propositioning the ladies with his offer of a one-on-one conversation. I cheered when Maggie punched him and took the watch.
I have never felt warmth for Enid, but I am glad she is there for Carl. I am excited to see Carl and Jesus work together. Speaking of Jesus, he used some sweet moves to take down the walkers.
When Simon made Gregory kneel, that was a clear indication that getting rid of Negan would not solve their problem because there are wannabe Negans in-training. They need to also remove Negan's lieutenants.

I really like Jesus and I hope he is around for a long time.
They did not tell us where Michonne was headed.
