I saw young Emma from OUAT in the credits. She must be Penny.
Once again, I was looking right at Aaron and didn't recognize him until someone called him by name.
That one man said government just got in the way. I just don't think like that, but then I don't have a lot of money either. He didn't seem the least bit concerned that he had so many weapons.
Now I understand who that man is that showed up in the helicopter. And now we know how he fooled everyone.
And Wells is in trouble again.
No one mentions Atwood's son and gets away with it!
And Kirkman continues to show he would be a better President than the real one.

I enjoyed the episode even though there were a lot of people involved. Because previous posts helped me to remember Lozano, I am going to include as many names as I can.
Abe’s source has been giving him information that was distorted to cast suspicion on Agent Wells and Atwood. I must admit I enjoyed Atwood punching Abe when he kept mentioning Atwood's son. We learned early in the episode the mole was a member of the White House. I think the great reveal was anti-climactic because I do not even remember what Whitaker does even though this is his third episode.
On the heels of the gun control legislation being signed into law, Kirkman and Hookstraten had a candid conversation during which they cleared the air regarding their rocky relationship when Kirkman became President.
Kirkman offered Hookstraten the position of Vice President and she accepted. Before she could be vetted, her former aide, Liam Price, gave Sen. Bowman information that would create problems for her. I think the title of the article written about her was clever, “Hookstraten’s Turkish Delight”. She must appear before the House Ethics Committee, but Kirkman insists on supporting her.
Agent Beck gave Agent Wells video footage from the day Lozano was killed. She examined the body and the video very closely and confirmed that Lozano did not die. The investigation led her to former CEO of Browning Reed, Patrick Lloyd. Lloyd is dangerous because he is former military, rich, and has political connections. After Agents Wells and Forestall visited Lloyd, Wells was kidnapped.
The product placement for Ford Motor Company was the most blatant I have seen.

I'm glad Kirkman was willing to keep Hookstraten as his choice in spite of her problems.

Kirkman gave Hookstraten a good job, assuming she is approved. She quit as speaker, which I guess was a good idea if all the controversy was making it hard to work with the new Congress. And there has never been a more new Congress since 1789.
I guess Atwood is dead, and that's a shame.
Wells got herself out of her jam and right into another one.
Abe isn't really the journalist he thinks he is.
These people who want to take over the country worry me.
Nothing on this show, regardless, even begins to compare with "Scandal". 63 innocent people have died so far, a significant number of them children.

I have been reading your comments on the "Scandal" thread, but I have not watched it after the break-up. I also think Atwood is dead. He typed something on the computer and I hoped he sent the pictures and information to someone. Hookstraten turned out to be a good ally and I hope she enjoys being Secretary of Education. The Congressman was inflexible, except when Hookstraten offered to resign. I know it really bothers Mike to not accompany Kirkman to the summit so he can protect him. I hope nothing bad happens to Kirkman or Mike. I am suspicious that Whitaker will do something to Seth’s phone before returning it to him.

I don't know who Whitaker or Seth are. Whitaker is the White House mole who is feeding wrong information to the journalist (Abe). However, I mistook him for the person who snapped a picture of Seth with the President at Air Force One. It was actually the former president who took the picture. Seth is the White House Press Secretary that you like.

This can't be good for Abe. The people who were taking advantage decided they don't need him. I assume that's Whitaker who said that.
It was exciting watching Hannah try to escape and then having them finally track her down.
I was hoping they'd catch whoever was deleting those files, but somehow when he acted that software made him appear to be multiple places.
I was thinking about something else entirely when Kirkman was talking about nuclear policy. See the Last Man on Earth thread. But it is weapons, not power plants (I had just seen an episode where ...). Kirkman had some difficult choices to make. But they can't disclose classified information.

Seeing his name where I didn't expect to is like seeing someone's face where I don't expect to. his name is Kai Penn but that's not his name on the show. I mentioned several places that I had problems Wednesday night. I missed the beginning of this episode. When I tried to watch live nothing happened, but a few minutes later I tried again and all was fine. In fact, although I saw that "Modern Family" was supposedly recording, it did not. There is a way to find out why shows didn't record, and in every case it was "no signal". Now earlier in the evening "Jeopardy" quit on me. Fortunately ... wait, that was Tuesday.

Comments about the FINALE - Brace for ImpactExcellent episode and a satisfactory season finale. Although the President/FBI/Secret Service did not accomplish everything they needed to do to eliminate all threats, they made progress on the immediate threat. Atwood's final act revealed the identity of the mole and I was so happy when SS Mike blocked Whitaker’s exit. The former president stood by Kirkman and supported him even when he disagreed with the decisions. Kirkman made him his Designated Survivor. I wondered if Congress would be blown up during Kirkman's speech and the former president would be the leader in season 2. Kirkman wrote and delivered an excellent speech to the House, Senate, and citizens explaining the facts about the bombing of the Capitol. Even his enemies were moved to applaud. It was nice to see the president’s children return to the White House. And I am happy that Aaron will return too “even if they have to create a position for him.” Some unlikely characters received exoneration – General Cochrane and Journalist Abe. Kirkman made high remarks about Abe during his speech. I think Wells computer friend should receive some recognition for helping them.

There is a lot that I drive by often that looks like that ship where Wells was. Why would anyone put those huge colored containers out in the country? There was a sign saying they were for sale.
I couldn't believe they arrested Wells. What she did, moving the bomb, reminded me of something that happened on another show.
I was also happy when they caught up with Whitaker.
I didn't think they would actually blow up Congress again (and where were they?). Besides, we like Kirkman too much. But I thought making the other man Designated Survivor was a good idea. Great speech but short. His ability has really developed.
I feel the same about Aaron, even if every time I see him it's like I'm on "Trial & Error".
Abe deserved credit for what he did, and while it looked weird to have him in the Oval Office, Kirkman handled it well.

The parking lot next to the library at the two-year college has a section that looks like where Wells was being held. I saw cops training there.

Mike was on "Battle of the Network Stars". The women went crazy when he took off his shirt for swimming and the dunk tank.
Also, I've never seen anyone do a tug-o-war the way he did. He wasn't pulling the way the others were. One of the commentators said he was pulling like an ox. And his team won.
