Neither am I. I plan to wait for you to say something like "It is soooo much easier to watch than last season."

The following quote from the article does not give me hope that the show will be less brutal.
"Of course, as any fan of "The 100" knows, things are rarely as they seem. If the trailer for the new season is any indication, it's going to be a dark and grim time for the survivors, with plenty of death and despair to go around.
With the world on the brink of a second apocalypse just as it's beginning to recover from the first one, "The 100's" fourth season is shaping up to be a doozie."

I fast forwarded through the finale until the final 20 minutes. The show jumped 7 years and ended on a cliff hanger. There will be a 5th season to sort it out.

I haven't had the courage to watch this yet. I have the whole season to watch, as I did last year, but now that I have time, I find other stuff to watch.

This is painful to watch so far. I don't see how anyone can stand a show like this.
The good news is that what is happening to the cast of "Last Man on Earth" is happening to them too. It didn't happen as fast, but now there are people capable of solving the problem. That should be interesting.
I get confused every time I see a guy called "Bellamy". I have to remember the female Bellamy is the President of the United States on "Scandal".

The next episode was interesting. They're trying to save everyone they can. And there's a choice to be made. Save the people working as slaves, or use the machine that will make water to save everyone else? I keep thinking of "Driving Miss Daisy".
Abby has a nice body.

Wow. This is going to be worse than I was expecting. They don't even have time to prepare for radiation. At least this one woman appears to be immune and that gives us all hope.
I found it very confusing that someone was carrying the flame around. But the flame is not an actual flame. Whatever it is, it has been destroyed but knowing these people, they might be able to bring it back. And there is now a new meaning to "The 100". If The Ark will only support 100 people, this could be bad.

Even worse. Now they have to divide The Ark between two groups, with 50 each. And already the word got out that the 100 people had been chosen, and those who weren't on the list weren't happy about it.
I couldn't believe Octavia survived. I knew it would upset Bellamy. But somehow Octavia made it back.
Raven really seemed to be enjoying herself when she was flying. Somehow she's going to be the one to find the solution. But she has to survive first. She's getting reckless.
The doctors seem to be busy. Does The Ark have any doctors left?
Never mind. No one can use The Ark as a shelter now. How could he do that?

I forgot to mention this. So this is what passes for lighter and more humorous?
They floated Jaha. They tampered with the fire suppression system. And before black rain became a terrible reality, Jasper pretended he was feeling its effects.
I have seen two episodes this weekend and I'm confused. Abby is working at the location where Raven is testing the spaceship? She is trying to figure out how to use the girls' blood to save everyone. Clarke is so glad to see her. But then she is giving Octavia physical therapy? I was confused since I thought that was Raven, and I wondered who that guy was, but I should have realized that the lighting is different where she is. I thought it was Raven who had the problem with her leg. But Octavia is recovering from what could have been a fatal injury. Actually, the guy with Octavia was the one who burned the ark, and the whole group wanted to take him out and kill him. Octavia really wanted to but couldn't. And then in a truly ironic situation. Octavia knows the black rain will kill her and runs out into the rain. The guy stops her. In a related note, I liked seeing Octavia in her underwear. She looked even sexier when she was struggling.
I also liked seeing Clarke put on her clothes until I realized she was in bed with another girl. And it didn't do anything for me that the other girl got out of bed naked. Because I would have wanted her to be with a guy.
What an adventure! I thought they wouldn't make it there with the fuel. It was pretty amazing how they got out of that situation. And it turned out they didn't. Without enough fuel, all of Raven's efforts were for nothing. Now there needs to be a new solution. I was so excited when Raven finally got it right.
The black rain is terrible. I thought Jasper was exaggerating, but when it arrived, it really was that bad. I just have to wonder what the water is like when it is not falling. How do plants survive? What will they eat if they find a way to keep the rain from affecting them? Is the water bad when it is just standing there? The point was made that water will be undrinkable. So will it be all right if they have the solution? We have many more episodes to go. it's depressing but exciting.

Things have gone from bad to worse. The blood is not going to work.
I forgot to mention Bellamy. At least he tried, but those men still died. Bellamy took a big risk.
Clarke was going to test the blood on herself, with the new way they figured out to make it work. Now that's not going to happen.
At least they've found a bunker now. But the planet will be unlivable for how long? Seems like a depressing place to have to live.
Meanwhile, the various groups are fighting.

In the "previously", it was not mentioned that Clarke almost tested the blood on herself.
Anyway, now there is a real leader of all the clans. I guess. I didn't understand half of what was going on. Jasper didn't want to be in the bunker and a bunch of the group was staying as well. But they're taking a real risk.
I'm not clear on what's happening to Raven and the others with her. And Raven is losing her mind. Which is a shame because they really need it.

No time to watch, or desire. Besides, I'm having more fun watching the people who are actually trying to stop the end of the world.

I couldn't believe it when someone said Octavia refused to make a deal with another clan rather than fight the representative of that clan. But Octavia has gotten quite mean over the years. Clarke would have, but I guess Octavia has just turned evil. I was relieved when at the last minute, after miraculously defeating everyone because someone said to hide from as many of the competitors as possible, Octavia actually said she wanted everyone to have a chance. And it turns out Clarke can't allow that because there's just not room. So this is why this is not the end yet.
The language that is spoken most of the time does seem to have some words in common with English. There are a lot of synonyms.
Luna was actually going to defeat other competitors even though she has no clan, and if she won it all she wasn't going to allow anyone in the bunker. She went from being the one who could save everyone to someone who just had to die.

A lot of complicated developments as we get close to the end.
Was Raven really by herself? But somehow she froze herself and managed to come back. I'm curious as to how she will actually save herself.
That was so cruel, making everyone stay outside. I'm glad Bellamy found a way to escape and Abby got the door open so he could let everyone in. It won't be as bad as believed. And the warrior who cheated got the punishment she deserved.
As for Jasper and his group, I guess they did the only thing they could do. I liked what some of the girls were wearing. I'm not clear on how they were supposed to get in if no one was being allowed in.

Things just got interesting.
I was so happy to see those people who got selected in the lottery. Then Thelonious came up with his idea. Now it's such a big disappointment, to know that some of those people who thought they would be safe won't be after all.
And Octavia and her group have other ideas.
Raven was really going to be needed. Now she will have to go to space with the others who came to pick her up. It's too late to get back safely. I didn't even know the Ark was still there.
Abby was going to sacrifice herself. That wasn't right. She's essential.

I was reluctant to watch the finale, but wow.
Raven couldn't figure out how to solve the problems they were going to have getting into space. Monty almost had to be left behind. Communication went out. And the decision finally had to be made. Clarke had just enough time to get back if they used the satellite tower. And then she had to climb it. They were going to have to leave her behind if they made it off Earth at all. It appeared Clarke was dying, but we know she had nightblood. Then they weren't sure she got the job done, but when they got to The Ark, all was well. Or would be. It looked like it was too late, but then ...
I actually want this to come back so we can see what happened.
We never did get to see what went on in the bunker.
