Jensen is a wonderful actor and I enjoyed his portrayal of Dean’s journey down the path of forgetfulness. At first, it was funny, like when he did not know which key to use and used the wrong gear in the car. I gasped but then laughed when the lady slapped him. I thought it was very interesting that Dean’s personality did not change even though he could not remember his past. He was still thrilled at the thought of hunting supernaturals and his humor was still there. He lost the angst and even looked younger to me.
The scene when he was alone in the bathroom and realized his memory was gone was heartbreaking.
Sam was desperate to help Dean. He asked Rowena for help, but he just wanted her to tell him the spell, not show up. He was smart and knew she had an ulterior motive. Now that Rowena is an ally rather than a nuisance, I have begun to enjoy her a little bit.
The sticky notes were hilarious. Oh, my goodness, when Dean was uncertain and waved the gun between Sam and the warlock, that was shocking. Sam kept it short and sweet. Me brother, him witch. That was funny.

Am I the only one who enjoyed the episode? The end scene reinforced the brotherly bond and the underlying theme that even if they had a choice, they would still choose to hunt.

Sorry for the delay Anti, I liked it but didn't love it. I had thought it was going to be more funny than sad, but it was really sad most of the time for me. Dean was rather childish in his not remembering self, but it was nice to see light hearted Dean, whom we haven't seen in years, these guys have so much "bad " on them, past, present and soon to be future crap, that once in while it's nice to see a humorous moment. The entire bathroom scene was so heartbreaking, Sam trying not to cry, and then Dean trying to remember, that was really tough to see. But another example of these 2 and their great acting. I love smart Sam, who as bad as he hated to, called in Rowena to help, and even though he was crushed and shaken by what she was saying, he still didn't miss her trying to gain another evil thing to help her. I loved it at the end where he almost cried again when he thought that Rowena didn't cure Dean. Dean doesn't do well without Sam, but Sam doesn't do well without Dean either. The rabbit was a nice call back to S3 and the witch episode. I couldn't stand Rowena when she first showed up, but the last year or so, she is growing on me some, it was funny to see how Dean reacted to her, and how she kept touching him, when she touched his hand and then kept hold of it till he walked off toward the bed, was odd, were Jensen and Ruthie just having a little fun or was that the way the script was written? It was nice to see Dean on the bull at the end, yep really nice.

I really enjoyed this episode. Jensen plays sill so well. And his banter with Rowena was lots of fun. And Sam trying to deal with his increasing memory loss was both funny and sad.
The only thing that caught my "what?" meter is when Dean got out of the car and opened the trunk. Where did he get the keys? What made him open the trunk. that being said, the note on the big gun that read' "NO!!!" was hysterical.
And when Sam told Dean he was a little jealous over Dean's forgetting the things they had done as hunters, I was glad to hear Dean tell him that it wasn't just the bad stuff, it was all the good stuff.....with Sam. Good moment.
I actually enjoyed Rowena and that is saying a lot. Plus, I didn't even miss Cas.
Enjoyable episode.
