I enjoyed all of the characters, including the villains. Some people were a little confused at first when they would flash back and then forward, but that does not bother me at all. “Arrow” does that every episode and so do some of the other shows that I watch. The “good” guys were bad and the “bad” guy was good. Did they not realize people would hate Mary for what she did? I was a wee bit surprised that she did not give up the stolen object to save her boys. This show still comes up with interesting ingredients like “Prince of Hell”. They just wanted to be left alone and the BMOL interfered. I am not sure I trust the BMOL was telling the truth when he said he made a mistake and did not know they were dealing with a Prince. I hope the two other Princes do not come gunning for the Winchesters. Cas, Cas, Cas! He really suffered so badly, I was afraid he was going to die and I was getting upset. Cas knew he was dying and wanted the Winchesters to be safe. He told them he loved them and knowing them was the best thing that ever happened to him. Michael’s special weapon was beautiful and powerful. I wonder if it will work if it is put back together. I was very happy when Crowley showed up. I enjoyed seeing his connection with the Prince and how Crowley became the King of Hell. He does respect the Winchesters and gave them credit for saving us many times. I love him for saving Cas. The final scene with Crowley was a special treat. I had no idea that was coming.

There was one amusing scene. When they were in a diner, the waitress flirted with Cas. Dean loved it and gave Cas advice on how to flirt with the waitress. After Dean said the great thing about waitresses is they always smell like food, Cas leaned in and sniffed the waitress. They come up with some silly stuff.

Hi Anti, I have a question- I noticed you put most of your comments in a spoiler tag, how long should I wait until I post my review without spoiling it for someone? I would still put the very last scene in a spoiler.

I would still put the very last scene in a spoiler. Hi The only reason I used spoiler tag was I posted right after I saw the episode and we are in different time zones. I agree about the last scene and was very careful to not spoil that. I am going to remove the spoiler tag now. Looking forward to your comments. I do plan to watch the episode again and pick up on some cues that I missed.

I loved it, I loved it, I loved it. One of their best episodes, ever.
Poor Wally. Was he the guy who was in a diner with a BMOL and turned down their offer to cooperate? And bad, bad Mary for bringing him on a demon hunt when he was still green. I keep remembering that Mary is still catching up with her life after John and many years after she had stopped hunting herself. She's going to make mistakes. And this hunting deal with the BMOL is a big one. Along with giving them the Colt. How could she? She may not have known that Dean used it to kill Azazel, but she knew it was important because her father had told her that there were only 5 things it could not kill. Could the 5 things be the princes of Hell and Lucifer? That would mean there are 3 princes left.
Loved how the episode jumped back and forth. SPN does that very well and doesn't let the viewer get confused.
I was sure Cas wouldn't die, but he did come close. Great scene with the boys and Mary when he said he loved them all and that they were his family.
What will the BMOL do with the Colt? Will Mary come clean with Dean and Sam? Will the other princes come into place since the deal with Crowley was broken?
I'm excited for upcoming episodes.

I am also excited for upcoming episodes. Maybe the colt can kill the princes, but it cannot kill Lucifer. Dean tried that and Lucifer b****-slapped him about 50 feet into a tree.

I loved about95% of this one, it was one of the better ones I have seen, and I think this is the first time in a long time I have loved most of an episode. SoCal- Yes, Wally was the one that met with Mick and turned them down. I saw a theory that he was set up by the BMOL to die because he had turned them down, I don't know if I believe that. I do wonder why they would turn him loose in a demon hunt when he hasn't had any experience with them. I personally did not like the slow motion walking and some of the music cues, it felt a little campy and a little soap opera-ish, but overall I really liked it, with the exception of Mary, I will save her for last. Sam and Dean sticking with Cas, and trying as best they could to find something to help him, they seemed shocked when he told all of them he loved them, I don't think they hear many people or beings that they are loved, it must have been quite a shock. The family aspect is being pushed forward this season, and I am almost dreading the downside of it, it scare me for the finale. I noticed Mary seemed taken aback when Cas said that, I am not sure if she thought the idea of an angel loving humanity or his human family was something that could happen. I loved that the guys stayed with Cas and wouldn't leave, even though they knew they didn't have much of anything to slow down Ramiel. I liked the actor who portrayed Ramiel, he was very much like Cain, who only wanted to be left alone. Even though Crowley has done some bad, bad things, his trying to distract Ramiel and coming up with the "cure" for Cas was great, he can be a great ally when it suits his purpose, though he usually does things for his own good and I wonder what the price will be for that. Cas, poor baby Cas, he has suffered so much this season, I did love Misha's acting this episode, he portrayed so much of Cas' emotions, and for an angel to profess his love for his human family was something that has never happened in the SPN world. Even as Cas was dying, he still wanted to save the Winchesters and was going to fight as best he could. I didn't think they would kill him off, but I was getting worried there towards the end of the episode. The shocker with Crowley at the end- this isn't going to end well for anyone. I have been confused about Mary since she came back, and now I jus never want to see her again. She almost got SAM and DEAN killed, let alone Cas, what is she thinking? True she hasn't been around and hasn't been through a;; the things the guys have been though, but how about asking a damm question, or here is a thought, spend some time with your kids and learn from their mistakes before making MORE and getting people killed!!! How do you do that, I just can't fathom that, it is beyond belief that she would do that. My only hope is from that little scene where someone is watching her from outside the café where her and Mr. Ketch are at turns out to be anyone of the 3 guys and they learn what she did. It won't go well for her.

I must have been in shock because I do not remember someone watching Mary. I am going to watch it again tomorrow.

Anti- We don't see anyone looking in the window, it is just the camera shot that makes it look like someone could have been looking in the window, it was an odd shot and it didn't fit in with anything else in that scene. I am thinking that maybe Cas followed Mary because of what Ramiel said, just to see what is going on.
Couple of other things that I noticed-When Cas is healed, he seems out of it like he can't focus, I have read some things that may happen towards the end of the season, and I am wondering if this "healing" will play into that.
We didn't see a lot of Dean in this one, because that is when Jensen and his wife had their twins.

Nov - I had absolutely no idea what all the titles and slow motion referenced but I just loved the episode. Dean, Sam and Cas were great and we're getting a hint of the trouble Mary may get into after 30+ years of being dead.

Nov - I had absolutely no idea what all the titles and so motion referenced but I just loved the episode. Dean, Sam and Cas were great and we're getting a hint of the trouble Mary may get into after 30+ years of being dead. Closed captioning was displayed on my screen, and it gave helpful hints. For example, for the slo-mo, it said "spaghetti western theme". So I knew Speight wanted it to be like a corny western.
