I understand Claire being upset with the angels for taking her father. However, she has always seemed like a typical bratty teenager to me and she is not one of my favorites. Maybe, if she exhibited a sense of humor, I would enjoy her a little bit. She knew there was a werewolf around so it seemed careless to walk in a deserted area while wearing headphones. She seems determined to hunt alone so she needs to be more alert and carry a long-range weapon.
The BMOL guys are making orphans of the monsters. The poor werewolf was lonely and he needs a wolf pack to bond with.
I am ambivalent about the way Mick handled the situation with the girl who was in the hospital. He knew she would turn and decided to handle it on his own. It is not clear to me why he did not share the information with the Winchesters.
I enjoyed Dean's enthusiasm about the 3-star hotel and the way he gave Mick a hard time. Sam's expressions made me laugh.

I liked this more than I thought I would, I don't mind Claire, she can be a little whiny, but she will never even be in the same realm as Krissy, who I can't stand. She actually did show concern for Jody and Alex by not wanting to chance her hurting them if she busted out, and she partly told the truth to Jody in the phone call. That is a little growth for her, not the typical self centeredness of a teen. I thought all the Harry Potter references were cute and loved some of the looks between Sam and Dean when Sam was geeking out and Dean just looked at him like he couldn't believe it. The happy look by Dean at the 3 star hotel, him stealing mints and his affection for the pillows, but we were robbed of seeing Dean take a swim, totally not fair. Mick is actually growing on me some, still don't trust him, but I think after he killed the girl and was in the hallway, I saw his hand shake and there was a look on his face when he heard the mother cry, you could see it affected him. I think that coupled with his helping Claire might start his defection from the BMOL. Or at least he can see there can be special circumstances at times. Dean calling Claire in the funny voice , I think he and Sam do care for Claire and they could really give her a lot of information on hunting since it seems as if she is going down that path. I do like that they both wanted her to eat some real food. Their united front against Mick when they found out he had killed the girl, was nice to see, and even at the end they were still giving him a warning about what would happen. I had a few problems with it, but by far the biggest one is WHY DID NO ONE CALL CAS? ?? Seriously he is as close to her family besides Jody, Alex and the guys, why did no one mention him? I don't get it.

Hi How are you doing? I think Claire and Cas parted on good terms the last time they met. So it does seem odd they did not call Cas. Do they know Cas returned to heaven? I did like the cure. It seemed easier to administer than the vampire cure that poor Dean suffered. It was nice they gave Garth a shout out as a "good" monster.

I admit I put off watching this episode because I hate Claire and I'm not fond of the actress portraying her. She's always scowling.
That said, I did enjoy the episode, more for Dean and Sam hunting and teaching "harry Potter" what the job of real hunters is.
I never saw the first bartender as the werewolf, they really fooled me with that one.
Anti, I agree, the werewolf antidote sure seemed more tame than the one poor Dean took to reverse his vampirism(?).
I was surprised at the end that Claire told Jo she was going to continue to hunt on her own "for a while." You'd think she'd have been scared spitless after her encounter with werewolves. Plus, she can NEVER carry off Dean and Sam's impersonations of officers and others because she looks like a child.
I see BMOL will feature in the next episode. I hope it's good.

I agree with both of you, the werewolf cure seemed a little easier to endure than the one for vampires.
I don't mind Claire, but she is a little young looking to pull off disguises for hunting, and it is obvious she needs to learn more before doing actual hunting, twice now she has almost died, unless she has a death wish she should be backing off.
I know she mentioned hunting with Jody and how she had to sit in the car but she can still learn by observation.
