The show is serious backlash for killing off Tom Keen on this show. Reminds me of the backlash on "Supernatural" - Castiel fans vs non-Castiel fans. People are also upset and confused that the writers decided Red is Liz' father, but they had previously said Red was not her father. |

I really enjoyed it because Liz is stronger and was able to take care of herself. They showed what she went through after Tom's death, but that was done in flashbacks and did not take up much time.
The focus was on Liz while she was living in a cabin in the woods with a dog named Kate. An ice storm was on the way and that closed the roads to traffic. When Kate kept barking, Liz followed her and found a man lying on the ground injured. Then, I knew trouble was on the way.
We had never seen Liz in a killing mood. She was still so angry about Tom being killed, she took it out on the men who threatened her at the cabin. She was cold blooded and downright vicious. Red does not like seeing her in emotional pain and is worried about her state of mind.

Liz continued to track down people who would lead her to the leader who ordered Tom's assassination. She is acting ruthless as she encounters various criminals and is getting closer to her target. She learned that the man she thought Tom was aiding was actually helping Tom. The man who was talking to her was killed before he could tell her more.
The man who had been blackmailing Ressler was finally stopped, thanks to Reddington.

After an accidental death, Liz used the cleaning method she learned from Mr. Kaplan to erase the evidence. Later, she used a method of one of the Blacklisters to dissolve the body so there would be no trace for the cops to find.
In a separate matter, Red enlisted the aid of the FBI Task Force to help him locate a special penny a man stole from him. Red’s antics during the episode were amusing. Red made a deal with Stern to share the money, but Stern double-crossed Red. Red was prepared for the double-cross and he double-crossed Stern. Red now has a gazillion dollars and is on top of the world.

I watched it also. The black cop who was irritating Liz is now her ally. The white guy who seemed to be the leader of the people who tortured Tom is a bad cop.
