Get ready for another addition to The Blacklist! The NBC TV show drama has been renewed for a fifth season. James Spader and Megan Boone star in the drama. Although this season the series was joined by a spin-off, The Blacklist Redemption, is it not expected to return.

Although The Blacklist: Redemption was cancelled, we haven’t seen the last of Tom Keen. Ryan Eggold is returning to The Blacklist TV show, starring James Spader and Megan Boone.

Reddington is broke and living at a motor lodge. But he is not at all depressed. He is scheming to recoup his losses, build another network, and make the FBI help him.
Everyone on the team has been informed that DNA testing confirmed Liz is Red’s daughter. Red took her on a wild road trip. Although she protested most of the time on the trip, at the end she seemed happy and proud of Red.
Donald Ressler no longer has to worry about being implicated in the death of the official, but the cleaner has threatened him with blackmail.
Tom Keen has the suitcase of bones that Red and Dembe have been searching for. Tom was going to reveal it to Liz, but did not after she said Red was her father.

I am so happy Reddington is back to his conniving, smooth-talking self. He pulled an outrageous con that neither I nor the FBI realized was happening right under their nose. Elizabeth is enjoying the game as much as Red.
Tom Keen arrived at a man’s home to talk to him about the suitcase full of bones, but Dembe had gotten there first. Tom hid in a closet and saw Reddington shoot the man. Before he died, he told Tom the name of someone he should contact.

At this time, we believe Red really is Liz' father. I have no idea who the bones belong to. It is another mystery to solve.
Even though Harold keeps fussing at Red, each week Red ends up giving him another blacklister.

Harold explained the reason in the episode, but I will tell you this. Their unit is being observed very closely and Harold's job is on the line. Red has been lying to Harold (and everyone else) about what he is doing and that upsets Harold.

My goodness, Reddington is so slick and conniving. He tricked the gun dealers and threw Tom to the wolves in his scheme to get the guns. I think Dembe knew what Red was doing, but Tom certainly did not. Tom was really angry with Red. That guy from the DMV is really amusing. And now Reddington has an airplane.
I do not know what to say about that woman being able to convince cops to kill people. That story parallels what is happening with Donald Ressler. I was impressed when Red figured out Ressler was in trouble and offered to help him. Of course, Ressler refused Red’s help, but one day he might need it.
Reddington gave the FBI two blacklisters this week, so they should not be too angry with him.

Darn it, about 45 minutes into the program, it was interrupted by “breaking news”. It is not available on demand yet.
A blacklister was known for creating one-of-a-kind items by eliminating all other copies and she included killing people.
A twist to the current case is that she was kidnaping people whose blood was known as “Golden Blood”. The blood was called that because only seven people worldwide had that type of blood.

I talked about the breaking news on the Vent thread. An angry man shot five of his co-workers, then traveled to another state and shot someone else he knew. The breaking news let us know he had been captured.
