I saw the movie today. It is the first time I have seen the playful Spider-man. They skipped over how he became Spider-man, but his friend mentioned it once and wondered if he could get bit by the spider.  Peter was fighting a strong and dangerous villain, but he refused to give up. Tony Stark as Peter’s mentor was fun to watch. He is always so cool and self-assured. I like the terms he used for features of Peter’s suit like “baby monitor” and “training wheels”. And it is probably the first time I have heard him say he was wrong. Wow! There is a lot of action and special effects. Also, Stan Lee had more of a speaking part this time around. Mary Jane was totally reinvented and I did not realize who she was for quite a while. I did like her though. And Aunt Mae is a babe. |

There is a scene following the roll of the credits. It is worth waiting a minute to see it.
