I was leery about watching the episode at night because I thought they would show Gibbs getting beat up. It might be strange, but the water-boarding is not as hard to watch as brutality. The team did an excellent job of locating Gibbs and McGee. The trauma took a terrible toll on both Gibbs and McGee and it was unusual to see both of them look so vulnerable after they returned home. Is that Gibb's father's? |

It looks like another team member is leaving after this season, perhaps a second one but I do know for a fact we are losing one key member.
No Clayton last night or Vance but we did get to see quite a bit of Torres which I enjoyed very much plus we got to see Ducky in his native Scotland.

You were vague about who was leaving. Pauly Perrette announced on Twitter she is leaving at the end of the season.
"Exit Strategy" made me wonder about David McCallum. Apparently, it would be a short absence. His return next season might depend on fans' reaction to his absence.
"Exit Strategy" was interesting although there seems to be too many stories about dishonest police.

I am newer to forums than most of the people who post here, but I seem to be one of the few people who understand what a spoiler is.
The cast members who are leaving NCIS are not spoilers.

I actually define spoilers as anything that could be related to the television series that people may not be ready to accept.
I realize that not all spoilers are that way.

I enjoyed this very good episode.
Agent Sloane, a forensic psychologist, dropped in on Gibbs at his home during a storm. She pretended her car broke down and he seemed to be the only person at home in the neighborhood. She did not fool him for long, and my money is always on Gibbs. I think it will be fun seeing Sloane and Gibbs play off of each other. Unless she dyes her hair red, they will probably not date.
I was very interested in Agent Bishop’s relationship with the XO she knew in high school. Thomas “The Adonis” Buckner’s sincere apology and acknowledgment that he had been awful in high scool helped Bishop to get over her resentment. After the case was solved, she invited him to call her when he is in port again.
I wonder if Torres will refer to Bishop as Scarecrow sometimes to tease her.

Fake It ‘Til You Make It
I agree this was an excellent episode. When I look at Clayton Reeves, I would not suspect he lived in abusive households as a child. He treats people with dignity and respect. It is unfortunate that manipulative woman betrayed his trust, but he has a wonderful team that will help him get through it.

When Clayton described his abusive childhood, it hit close on a personal level with me.
I know that abuse takes a toll on you and it takes awhile to fully open up to others around you.
I don't think Jack or Sloane will ever be romantically tied with Gibbs. But it is nice to see a new face on the team.
Bishop is slowly starting to warm up to me, I feel like she was just portrayed too arrogant at first but now she's getting toned down.

The NCIS thread is not the place to discuss that. I want to chat about the show and not your issues. All of this year, you and I have had discussions about what you do to get attention, and this was one of those times.

Do you think that Sloane will get along better with the male agents or the female ones?
I think she's perhaps will do better with the males than the females because of her unorthodox methods.

It was a good episode.
Palmer got donations from 4 of his co-workers but the highest donation was from a surprise source.

I liked some of the episode but my mom and I did accurately predict about McGee's future children.
We're just trying to see if we can figure out their names without checking spoilers.
I actually am beginning to like Torres more and more. He's become like Tony in his teasing mannerisms.

That was an excellent episode! I was totally happy with most of the episode.
It had a tiny bit of sadness in it since one character died but in a way they will be remembered.
The names chosen for the twins was excellent choices and it ended on a very sweet note.
No new episode next week but that's totally okay.
Almost everyone was in the episode except for Director Vance.
