Salvation was excellent. Grace was surprisingly adept at defending herself against a professional killer. She was shaken, but handled the aftermath well. I enjoyed the scenes with Grace and her father, especially the family dinner where everyone lied about the events of the day.
I never thought Harris tried to harm Grace, but I did think it was Harris’ ex, in cahoots with the Secretary of Defense. I guess the call came from the Secretary.
Darius and Liam cleverly fooled the DOD, but the hackers fooled Darius (maybe). They think they will have access to his company from now on. The good news is the EM-Drive is on its way to saving the world.

It was a weird night. See the Vent Thread. Although what happened didn't really affect anything.
I was pleased that Darius and Liam got away with whatever they got away with. The Russians had agreed to everything and we were all set, and then the story got out and the Russians shot down what was believed to be the one weapon that could save the world. But our heroes got things done.
I was in the nursing home when the meteor hit Russia.
So now we need a real source or this story isn't going to amount to anything.
And it turns out in this world the President is a wacko too. And we know what she looks like now.
I can't remember now but isn't Jillian mad at Liam again?

I can't remember now but isn't Jillian mad at Liam again? Jillian said she wanted them to "take it slow" rather than continue as if nothing had gone wrong. However, when Liam raced to the game room to give her the good news, Jillian was having way too much fun with the guy she did not like. Liam walked away.

Well, if you look at the Vent Thread, it is understandable why I had trouble taking in everything.

Salvation was very good. When I saw this was not the finale, I knew something had to go wrong. There were several major issues to resolve.
Liam realized he could not control the path of the missile. It was headed on a collision course with the meteor. My first guess was the hackers found a way to control it, but I could not imagine what their purpose would be. The shadow group in the government has control and plans to let the meteor fragments fall onto the enemies of the U.S.A.
Darius’ uncle called a special meeting of the Board of Directors of Tanz Industries and requested they remove Darius as CEO. He called it retribution for Darius stealing from him. He still does not know why Darius stole from him.
I think someone used foul play to get rid of the president. Randall Calhoun is afraid of the shadow group and ran away with his husband. Harris is now Secretary of Defense, but that might not last long. I cannot trust Claire because she helped to frame Darius and Grace, but I doubt she harmed the president.
Liam has not given up on his relationship with Jillian. He professed his undying love for her and she did not seem to care. I do not care about her because she understands why he could not share information with her, but she still holds it against him.
I hope no real life Russian officials see this. They might think we really want to destroy them.

I can't seem to watch an episode of this without problems. See the Vent Thread. Everyone was blue and if they were inside I could hardly see them. Fortunately the problem got worse and I realized I had to replace the TV. I have six.
I knew it wasn't going to be easy.
My theory is the hackers have control of Tanz technology so if the government has changed how the missile will travel, they might be able to change it back.
Darius' uncle is as devious as his other characters.
At first I was worried and then I wasn't worried about the president speaking on TV, because they said she was mentally unstable or something. Maybe people wouldn't take her seriously. Or whatever was wrong kept her from saying anything.
I liked Jillian more before this week, but she's no longer ranked among my three favorites and I haven't decided who replaces her.
I'm worried about what the Russians might do too.

Okay, this is weird. We were this close to nuclear war, and just now I heard on the news and asteroid passed close to Earth.
This show is getting too much like the real world.

I'm worried about what the Russians might do too. You have a good theory about the hackers. I think they can infiltrate whatever system the government is using and take control. Darius needs to contact them so they will know the dilemma, but Darius is overwrought because he lost control of his company. The Russians must know the missile was successfully launched so I am worried too.

On the subject of this show being too close to reality, add the President who is not in his right mind. At least that's what some people say.

I really enjoyed Salvation. I like it better when the team works together instead of fighting each other. I think Harris played it smart when he acted as if he wanted to be on the new president’s team. I hope that is not how the government handles hackers on American soil. I loved the warm scene between Harris and his son and I hope Harris’ warning to his son led to his son escaping the blast. I trust Harris, but I still do not trust the Chief of Staff. Is she helping the shadow government because she is a team player or is she in fear of them? She is in love with Harris and that might be causing her to be conflicted about her real loyalties. Liam tries so hard to mend his relationship with Jillian. We met members of other families, and we finally met Liam’s mother. (When I saw her, the thought flashed through my mind that someone must have said the show did not have enough black characters. ) However, I did enjoy those scenes with Liam and Jillian and I enjoyed the scenes with the three of them. My favorite scene might be the one in the airplane where Darius insisted his uncle tell him the truth. It was way too easy to guess who the uncle loved and lost.

Was it this show that had a sexy bartender who was really nice and wore two different sexy outfits?
I didn't realize the President was dead. I thought she had just passed out and they were swearing in the other guy because she was incompetent.
I like Jillian again. Her scenes with Liam in the park were really nice.
Well, there goes my theory that the hackers will make it possible to stop the asteroid. I'm relieved Harris got his son out of there. If he did.
When I saw Liam's mother, I assumed he was adopted because he's too white to be her son. Turns out he was abandoned. I'm glad she came around on the idea of getting married, but Jillian changed her mind. I didn't get a good look at who was officiating. And I think you need two witnesses in addition to the minister.
Darius tricked his uncle. I couldn't believe it, but the uncle wasn't going to lose. The man who was keeping Highway 65 going on "Nashville" reminds me of him except he's immature like Trump. He actually cried when he was threatened by the news media. That won't happen here, but the uncle didn't want to die. I thought Darius waited too long to stop the plane from falling, and I thought he had done that.

Perhaps marriage laws are not the same in all states; nothing else is unless it is a federal law.

1.12 The Wormwood Prophecy
Salvation was excellent. Harrison, Darius and Grace are living dangerously because they could be cited for treason if they are caught.
Grace finally had the Armageddon talk with her daughter. I thought it was nice of the program to fade to the outdoors to spare us the dramatic reaction. It was sad when Harrison learned his son did not survive the blast.
Grace’s father is awesome. There is no problem he refuses to help her with. Digging up a president is what I would call a very big favor.
Btw, I never really thought the president was dead and gone. But I did not know who would be involved. I am glad I did not trust the Chief of Staff and now Harrison is sure she cannot be trusted.
I wonder why Darius was rejected for the flight on Salvation. In addition to his other problems, it appears the hackers have taken control of Tess.
The investigation finally had a tragic outcome for the reporter and her paper. But it appears the article will be seen by the public anyway.

I'm glad Grace told her daughter and she handled it well. I felt bad for Harris.
Grace's father IS awesome.
I didn't start thinking the President might be alive until they weren't clear about what happened when she was buried. And she is Jewish but named Mackenzie? She must have gotten married and disappointed her parents. Once I started suspecting the President was alive, I realized someone must be hiding the truth. I don't know whether Bennett is involved. I found it disturbing Harris was kissing the enemy.
So the hackers are still around. And things have gone from bad to worse.
I didn't pick up on Darius being rejected. I knew they were looking at people's pictures but maybe my screen is too small. I'm always missing text messages too.
And it looks like the article got sent and will cause chaos next week.
It was all exciting and makes me look forward to next week, but I'll be at the beach and cable comes with the hotel room. So there will be a movie I can't watch at home. It could be the weekend before I watch what I recorded.

I know I'm forgetting something, but I did remember this. How did Amanda manage to figure out the code using a Bible? It's not like every King James Bible has the same words on the same pages.

I enjoyed the episode and thought it was exciting.
I thought there would be a conclusion to the meteor/Russian crisis, but there was not. I cannot find any information on whether or not there will be a second season.
I really hate long good-bye scenes so I was squirming when Grace and Darius were talking. He said they had only ten minutes before the doors were sealed but they seemed to have more time than that.
I really like Darius’ farewell to the chosen and I am pleased they chose to dance. (When we watched “Under the Dome”, I commented I thought they should try to have a positive final moment instead of curling into a fetal position (figuratively).
I hope the show returns next year.

I didn't watch yet. I won't until tomorrow.
But I saw a movie that I highly recommend. Imagine that Darius was putting together a list of people to be saved, except an asteroid wasn't destroying the Earth. He was, by offering everyone on Earth free Internet and cell phone service. And the people he was saving were like him. More on the Scorpion thread.

About that movie: it also used the same technology allowing people to see people who weren't there. It was used at a meeting of all the James Bonds. I don't remember what his name actually was, but there were many of them. Only one was the mentor to his eventual successor.
This series needs a second season to resolve everything. But I enjoyed the final episode.
It was never made clear why Darius was rejected. He seemed to think he wasn't capable of leading the group or providing them with any benefit by being inside.

Darius told Liam he has a debilitating disease, (Hodgkins?) and had been hoping a cure would be found before it was too late. Yes, that is what he said. But what if his problem is he doesn't feel capable of leading the group? Regarding another episode, I saw what was on the screen when the software was being copied. I know enough about programming languages to know that was just the definitions of files and storage, which usually comes before the instructions. What they showed didn't actually do anything! That's probably easier to copy. As for the language, I only know languages that were in existence in the 1980s.

Mr. Burns on "The Simpsons" built an ark and got the local Mensa members to decide what Springfield residents were worthy of being saved along with him. Professor Frink said they couldn't do it, but that everyone in town should take a test he designed. It was mandatory, but no one knew what it was for.
