I am up to date on The Good Place, Conviction and Pitch.
The Good Place took an interesting turn when they tried to send the bad Eleanor to the bad place. There will be a season 2 to sort it out.

That was a good episode. I'm enjoying the flashbacks but I really like bad Eleanor. And I liked the bad place's Janet. |

NBC has fine-tuned a pair of timeslots for fall premiere:
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 20 AT 10 P.M. (New date and time)
“The Good Place” will launch its second season with a special one-hour episode immediately following the two-hour season finale of “America’s Got Talent.”
“The Good Place” will air in its regularly scheduled timeslot at 8:30 p.m. Thursday the following week on Sept. 28.

There were a bunch of comments on page 67 of the general What do you watch thread. I found others on pages that included 66 through maybe 75. There was one that was missing. Oh, wait. They're missing because they're on this thread. The Good Place was a disappointment and I did not laugh at all. I thought Jianyu was going to be funny, but he acted foolish instead. I still like Tahani and she was so happy to help plan the grand opening for the restaurant. Eleanor ruined it. The big hole in the floor of the restaurant is getting larger and that is a disaster Enjoyed reading this. I am gratified that she views The Good Place the same way I do. "Verdict: Love the premise. Love the cast. Wanted to love the show more. Bell’s character is truly awful, and even with the strongest motivation a human being could possibly conceive (being kicked out of paradise and into hell), her efforts at self-improvement are minimal. She’s just so annoying (Danson is very funny, though). Still, I didn’t hate it, and I may keep watching." The Good Place finale "Mindy St. Claire; Michael's Gambit" was my favorite episode of the whole season, and it has a good set-up for future episodes if the show is renewed. |

I was pleasantly surprised to see Adam Scott (Max from “Ghosted”) appear at the end of the third season pilot.
The episode was very funny but I had to pay attention so I would not miss the funny stuff.

Hulu lied to me. They called it a Hulu original series. The first one had Veronica as a cute teenager. Wait, that's the original series which was on UPN!
It's tempting but I don't have time for that one. When are there real original episodes?
