Scorpion will return with its fourth season next month, and the season will start in a big way. The series is going musical for the premiere, and CBS teased the special episode in a recent tweet.

Well, we know Paige can sing and dance, anyway.
The finale of "The 100" reminded me a lot of this show, except without the humor. The deadline was fast approaching, and no one could survive on Earth once it passed, without being either in the bunker or in space. And nearly everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

I reduced the size of that picture because it was huge.
The one aspect of this show I did not expect is the way the team always winds up in danger. It does make the show exciting, but reviews reveal a lot of people are interested in the science rather than the thrills.
Regarding The 100, I thought that show was going to be PG or PG-13. But blood, gore and life-threatening situations became the norm for them.

Scorpion was exciting, as usual. I am not as fond of their recurring villain as I am of the villains on the superhero shows. I did not trust him at all throughout the episode. I laughed whenever he was zapped by the ankle bracelet, except when he was trapped in the van. Even though Cabe agreed it was an accident when Toby was pushed into the freezing water, I think Toby should not believe or trust him. That guy might be playing the long con so they will trust him enough for him to escape.
There were as many relationship issues as there was before the couples got together. I think that led to some of the issues with the job because they were not really focused. Happy & Toby are more entertaining to me than Walter & Paige.
I was surprised Sly went willingly into that hole. If the ring means so much to him, he should have put it in a safe place because his drama was endangering Happy.
Cabe is supposed to chaperone the team, but he put his life in danger to help them succeed. I need to edit the favorites list because I really like him.

I was worried about Mark having to go in the water when there was the chance he would be zapped. I have to admit I didn't like the episode as much as most episodes.
I couldn't believe they got Mark out of the van, but he was willing to take the risk.
I liked the music except when Happy wore pink and sang. Paige looked prettier without makeup at the beginning of the song.
I don't see a reason not to trust Mark, but I would just as soon not have him on the show.
I was really hoping they solved the problem, but now this adventure continues next week.

The premiere was a two-part episode so I figure we can continue to talk about it here. So Mark really was being very clever. Everything he did had a purpose.
And Cabe is paying the price for it. I hope he will be able to get out of this situation. We know he wasn't guilty of anything.
I wondered how the general was supposed to get to wherever he was supposed to be if he was still covered in seaweed. And our heroes made sure he really couldn't go anywhere.
It's amazing how everything worked just right when it finally had to. I don't see how anyone could be as precise as Sylvester was trying to be in that situation.

I enjoyed the episode. When Mark showed he was tricking Cabe, I thought about you and mentally said "I told you so!" That was an elaborate plan and they did make some major errors. After Happy accidentally fired the missile, she did an impressive job of learning how to control the helicopter. I noticed they did not dwell on the consequences of the missile launch. The couples' relationships improved by the end, and I am glad of that. During the "previously on" segment, I heard Happy say Sly's ring was only a band aid. I did not remember that. Going back for the ring was very sweet of her. Sly is immature at times, but he is a number crunching genius, and I always trust his calculations. The only thing I thought was nonsensical was the way they casually spoke a lot of English in the spa and the discussions were unnecessary.
