I just heard "9 to 5" on my Wisconsin radio station so I figured I should come here right away to post. Yes, given that Maya Angelou or someone else like that would have been a better choice, that song was just so funny, but its lyrics do work.
I wondered why that was a new teacher, but now I remember the man who was having a relationship with Kelly was talking about leaving. Topa doesn't know his story and he should know to respect females, but he seemed to have learned the lesson by the end of the episode.
It turned out Bortus was wrong to keep that a secret but at the time it seemed like the best idea.
I wasn't surprised at the Moclans' behavior. The talk about their weapons being needed reminded me why we went to war in Iraq. Or may have. People from the Middle East had these outdated attitudes and yet we needed their oil. The one Moclan sounded like J'onn's father from "Supergirl".
I was pleased too that Bortus stood up for Kelly. Klyden is very narrow-minded. It never occurred to me that his staying at home was not wanting to socialize that he could have done something about, but I always recognized that he wasn't happy on the ship.
Seth does have a nice smile. He's usually smiling because he's doing something naughty. I'm referring to his appearances on shows related to "Family Guy".

I enjoyed the episode, and the resolution to the Moclan issue was more acceptable than I anticipated. Did Klyden want Bortis to be disciplined? It seems like a spouse would talk to his mate before going to the Captain. Too bad their divorce ritual includes murder.
Kelly was brave and I was glad Bortis helped her during the battle. It was impressive that the women and children joined the battle instead of letting the others do all of the fighting.
I like the Dolly Parton song and was amused when the lady spoke the lyrics in a profound manner.

Review of Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow
First of all, it was good to see Isaac again as well as Yaphit in this episode.
The episode starts out with the reminiscing of the courtship of Ed and Kelly, which was sweet but I had no idea she was such a party girl compared to Ed. She acts so buttoned up now. Then things really heated up with the younger looking Kelly arriving. Does that mean we'll see younger Ed too?
One thing that was a bit surprising was how the show started out we just saw the name of the series and then it had the actors' names appear in the middle of the screen during the episode not prior to it like they normally do it, it reminded of how many pilot episodes do that kind of thing on various television series.
I love young Kelly's hairstyle it is so pretty and she should totally wear her hair like that more often it make her look young and peppy plus it is still professional, I myself may to try to fix my hair like that!
I loved how Claire explained that it was indeed Kelly just younger by 7 years. The episode continues with her starting a courtship/dating situation with Ed. I think he was flattered at first and was indeed in love with her but the partying got to be a bit too much.
The club scene was humorous seeing Yaphit plus Bortus and Klyden having a good time together. I loved how Ed tried to explain they were going to sit it out but everyone kept misinterpreting that they needed the restroom. Why isn't Gordon being more of a party animal? Is it because of what happened with Laura?
It was nice to see Ed/Seth smiling more with his teeth and looking happier and I thought at first he was going to hook back up with the younger Kelly but he chose not to. Is it because he is only in love with her now and not what she was before?
The sending back sequence was bittersweet, I am glad younger Kelly helped give them a good solution that seemed to divert their enemies away, it was funny seeing them coming out on the bridge in their nightclothes but wait, why is Gordon wearing blue on his pajamas? I thought he had red ones. Hmmm.
I felt bad for Ed when he got the call saying it wasn't going to work out, uh-oh what does this mean for the present day Ed and Kelly? I couldn't really tell since the preview for the finale didn't give me much clue on what to think.
Overall a decent episode though.

I liked how Yaphit asked, "Are you nuts?" That was taking a big risk.
I liked the prettier and more laid-back Kelly. I couldn't believe she had changed so much.
The green uniforms are so pretty.
The music was definitely better in the nice restaurant than in that dance club. I thought Bortus would be so uptight he'd never like that place. Even Klyden was enjoying it!
I was pleased younger Kelly was able to make a contribution. For a while I was surprised she wanted a role because it seemed she wasn't smart enough to do anything on that ship.
I got worried when Kelly in the past didn't want to go out with Ed. That could change history!

One thing that I found out is the actors who play Kelly and Gordon are engaged in real life, my jaw literally dropped since they don't do many scenes together. I guess what happens off hours is a different thing altogether.
No word if the series has been renewed for a third season, I really hope so.

Yaphit's brother from "The Middle" is on "Abby's" at the same time and I never realized how much alike they sound. Good casting.

Here is an interesting interview of Mark Jackson (Isaac) he did with some fans at a comic convention in London:

I typically tweet soon after the episode to at least one of the actors and I actually got a like from the kid who plays Ty! It is the first one in this screenshot image, the other notifications you can ignore!

I didn't dream they would show such a drastic change in history just because Kelly never dated Ed again.
It was interesting but I'm glad they didn't leave us hanging.
When they said The Orville was in the Pacific I didn't think that was so bad. At least it wasn't the Marianas Trench. Wait, seriously?
I wondered how in the world they would get to Kelly from the past.
Isaac was not the Isaac we know. And I'm glad they shut him down.

Adam Sandler hosted "SNL" and said when he was a cast member he was 23 and most of his co-stars were about that age. But Norm Macdonald was 60.
And on "Single Parents", we learned Laura from the fantasy went on the road with a heavy metal band but when she got pregnant with the guy she liked, they put her out on the side of the road. She finally caught up with the guy and it wasn't pretty. And she was blasting death metal to the chagrin of her friend who drove her there.

^^^Gee...I have no idea how any of that relates to The Orville. Norm Macdonald is the voice of Yaphit and also played him when he was made human in that one episode. Laura was the adorable folk singer with the video and the 400-year-old phone that was used for a complicated simulation. Not such a sweet and innocent girl on her other show.

Here is some exciting news! The ones who play Gordon and Kelly got married over the weekend! They look so happy together in their photos and videos! extratv.com/2019/05/21/wedding-pics-scott-grimes-and-adrianne-palicki-get-married/I have no idea of any of their other cast members went to the wedding or not. Also believe it or not the composer for the show has worked with Seth before! Seth had him do some orchestrating arrangements for one of his albums. Also a fan has created a VR version of the Orville which is so cool looking! Seth tweeted about it and I looked over the video and I was so impressed with it!

To each other?
I found out Adrianne was Supergirl on "Smallville". Or at least people thought she was.

Yup they got married to each other!
Yes, she was on Smallville, I didn't recognize her but her name did seem familiar when it was mentioned she would be on it.
Also Scott Grimes' name seemed familiar then I did some checking and turns out he voices Steve on American Dad (also created by Seth plus Seth voices both the dad and Roger).

I knew about Scott Grimes. I knew Adrianne Palicki from "Friday Night Lights".
I saw a "Star Trek" movie over the weekend. It was either the Vent Thread or the weather thread where I mentioned I wasn't sure whether I had seen it but based on the summary figured it was the one where Daft Punk captured Enterprise crew members who came aboard another ship. This movie had just enough comedy that I would agree "The Orville" is not a parody, at least not how they're doing it now.

Exactly, people are saying that Seth created an amazing fan tribute to the Star Trek franchise and it shows!

In an episode of "The Simpsons" I saw over the weekend, Homer had a coupon for a restaurant with valet parking. They gave him the wrong car, a pristine '57 Cadillac. he wanted so badly to drive it that he took it anyway. Comic Book Guy was not happy when Homer returned the car with scratches. He said something like, "I gave you the U.S.S. Enterprise, you brought me back The Orville."

I do not think moving to Hulu will hurt the show, but it’s going to hurt me because I do not have Hulu.

I didn't have Hulu until I signed up for it yesterday but I can't get it to work on my iPad so I will see if I can web browse it on my computer.
