Tom Welling has been added to the cast of "Lucifer", which I love to watch. He might not have time this season to appear on another network show.

If Tyler Hoechlin is already Superman, it wouldn't make sense for Tom to also be Superman, as I have seen mentioned.

Based on Tom's interview with Michael I don't think he'd be interested in playing superman again. he said he likes more bad guy roles now.
