I like the way the season ended. Although Pride was targeted so he could be blamed for attacks against the military and New Orleans, he used an unusual amount of self control and let his team take point on finding who was behind the plan. Pride did eventually put himself in the mix, and it was a close call. Very exciting finale.

There have been some surprising changes to NCIS: New Orleans and two of them concern Agent Pride.
After his near-death experience, Pride now has visions and is followed around by his spirit guide (or maybe a reaper) who encourages him to cross over.
Pride's visions and incidental events led him to discover he has a brother, courtesy of his deadbeat dad. The brother is African-American and followed their father in a life of crime. However, he is charismatic, has stopped committing crimes, and gets along well with Pride. I think they jumped the shark on that one, but the brother blends well in the story.
Pride was promoted to SAC, but spends time with his beloved team instead of doing his duties as SAC.
