PREMIERE 10-10-17
With Barry in the speed force, Iris, Kid Flash, Joe, and Vibe must protect Central City; a powerful armored villain threatens to level the city if the Flash doesn't appear; Cisco decides to break Barry out of the speed force.

Excellent episode and I really enjoyed it. It is great to have the team together again. Cisco's confession to Caitlin was touching.
Caitlin gets frosty when someone antagonizes her. That was exciting.
Barry is super fast now.

I had some extra time before "Designated Survivor" started and I have always been excited about watching this show. But once I saw the beginning, I had no reason not to go right to the other show when it started. I had forgotten they put Barry in "prison". When I had some extra time later, I gave it another chance. I wasn't happy. Then things started to get better, especially when Caitlin seemed normal. But the attempt to get Barry back failed, and that was it for me.
I must have gone back to the episode at some point, but I know it wasn't last night. Because Barry was back but acting like a crazy person.

I also noticed Iris was doing some highly advanced computer programming or whatever. She's a journalist, not a computer geek. When did she learn all that? |

Kyle needs to give it a chance because there will be less drama and more fun than last season. I saw a newspaper article that mentioned this but I haven't found it online. The web site hasn't added a late night comics' page for three weeks. The news pages, I assume, haven't been updated either. I saw the rest of the episode over the weekend and Barry was back to normal much more quickly than I had anticipated. If they had kept this going for weeks I might have had to give this show a lower priority. I was making sure a bunch of shows got preserved until I got around to watching them, though I'm only at around 70 percent and there won't be a problem until I get to nearly 100 percent. |

Barry has his hands full when he takes on a dangerous meta who can control technology; Gypsy breaches in for a date with Cisco, getting annoyed when his work keeps them apart.

The elevator scene was awful but the rest of the episode was fun to watch. Kilgore must be a meta from the speed-force breach, but he would not tell them.
It was so funny when Barry dismantled the car to avoid a collision. The car seat slid slowly to a stop.
I think the upgrades to Barry’s suit were great. Too bad the meta had to ruin it.
I was disappointed Wally was knocked out and unable to be helpful.
The counselling sessions were fun to watch – until Iris finally told Barry the truth that she was upset he left her.
Cisco knows how to make an apology and woo a lady. He looked good, and I was hoping he would sing to Gypsy.
