I enjoyed “Elongated Journey into Night” and it made me laugh.
My favorite scene was when Barry saved Iris from the explosion by sinking through the floor. That was terrific.
It was very funny when Gypsy’s father dropped in on Cisco. Cisco was being sexy and Breacher zapped him across the room. Poor Cisco, he was being hunted by Gypsy’s father and he could not be sure if he had really killed the former boyfriend or not. Harry did not seem all that worried, but he did give Cisco some good advice.
I understand why Barry and Dibny were adversaries, but in the Arrow-verse, they do a lot of things that are not legal. So, Barry had to adjust his thinking and decide to help Dibney. I think the special effects were good even though Dibney’s face made Det. West nauseous.
Det. West got over his shock at the happy announcement and they had a nice celebration.
Each week, they give a nod to “Arrow”. Caitlin and Iris both agreed that Oliver is hot!
There was a nod to Thor when they mentioned Hemsworth.
A nod to Plastoid (but I am not familiar with that character).
The insurance ad used scenes from this week’s episode. That was interesting.

The Elongated Man was funny and he said DeVoe had contacted him. We did not see The Thinker, but we did see a flashback where future Barry mentioned DeVoe's name.

Another episode with a lot of comedy.
Joe was glowing. His girlfriend is pregnant, but she is the one who should be glowing.
Oliver is hot? No, Felicity is.
I didn't understand how Barry could pass through the floor but Iris described it and I was reminded of what he has done in the past.
Ralph was quite a character. But he got what was coming to him. His "power" was funny but very valuable. I forget Barry can't do some of the things the aliens can do.

I enjoyed the episode. I always laugh when Felicity says awkward things like when she said 55% of couples get divorced. Dibny is a bad influence, but Barry was very funny. It was obvious he was drunk so the club patrons did not take him seriously when he kept announcing he was Flash. I was surprised all of them, including Joe, were thrown in the drunk tank.
I do not know what qualifies Iris to lead a team to fight dangerous humans and metas without Killer Frost. Amunet/Blacksmith could have killed them and they are lucky to be alive. I guess they were trying to get #feminist trending.
The Weeper was ungrateful after being rescued, and now The Thinker has him.
