I somehow missed the last episode so I'll have to do two.
Shaun got kicked out of the birthing class because he kept correcting the teacher and upsetting the other mothers. And Lea got kicked out with him.
Was it last week the martial arts star didn't want surgery because he needed to look good? But Glassman finally got through to him. I think it was Glassman.
This week the Jewish resident upset Claire when he revealed he voted for Trump. And he did it in the OR!
Reznick could have been a bigger part of the episode but her contribution was limited to telling Park not to give up, and Park, not Shaun, found the miracle solution. And then they had more relationship drama later.

It always annoyed me when they discussed personal issues in the OR. It annoyed me enough to remove them from my top ten.

You haven't seen this week's?
I'm not sure what to say then.
Let me just say I don't want Shaun and Lea to have a baby. At one time I thought adoption was an option. Now, I don't think so. A baby would be too much of a disruption and a distraction. I want this to be a medical show and not about people's personal lives.
Also, I have to wonder who is doing Lea's job.

Lea's office is locked. But someone has to be doing the job. She did show up and people were happy to see her but it wasn't explained who had been doing the work.
I was so relieved Shaun was right about the reason for the cold feet. What he was wrong about was the older doctor making a mistake. He shouldn't have focused so much on the one cause.
From what I could tell as I watched last week's credits it was Lea who would have a harder time. That was misleading because obviously Shaun did. But he needed to be at work to feel better despite all the advice he was being given.

The politician who was making risky decisions to benefit her career was Bob Newhart's daughter in a series no one remembers but she sure was good in it. Lisa Kudrow was her best friend before "Friends" and I despised her.

I forgot to post here.
Imagine them finding a way for Lea to be a surgeon. Shaun fell when they were in the woods, all because Lea wanted to take a picture. His dislocated ankle can be fixed, but his circulation was cut off and it would take too long to get this problem fixed, causing him to lose the foot. Lea has t be a surgeon with him instructing her during terrible pain with only tequila as an anesthetic.
More talking about irrelevant stuff in the OR. And more recommendations from Reznick who can't participate.
And Glassman's marriage may be over.

Who is left if the whole cast is in Guatemala except Glassman? Oh, right, none of the first year residents came along.
Not everyone can be saved. This should be good for Reznick. Actually, maybe not.
Lim jumping into bed with that other doctor is ridiculous. And apparently, again, no one can ask for a raise.
Lea must have told her parents and now they want her to come home. I hope she doesn't leave. Why is she there, anyway? All she can do is take pictures.

I suspected Lim would be the one staying, if anyone. I thought she had fallen for the other doctor.
I hope Claire didn't really leave the show.
I was relieved Lea decided to stay with Shaun.
We were promised surgery with no power. Well, we sort of got it. But that wasn't a major part of the episode.
So Reznick is trying to return to surgery. I wondered why she was even there but her skills proved to be valuable until someone had time to take over.

Today’s promo showed Shaun saying “I’m sorry” when asked if he would take Lea as his wife. I wonder if that is misdirection.

I was watching a movie because I don't get these channels at home. It'll take me a while to get around to this.

I liked the wacko who wouldn't let them do tests on her. She was so funny. Now I'm wondering if I was premature. She owns the place now? Does that mean we'll see her all the time?
And we have only two second-year residents left and no first-year residents are being shown. Reznick should have gone ahead and admitted she was the senior resident. Nothing wrong with that.
Lim's boyfriend is back and she can hire him, since his legal troubles bother people at San Francisco hospitals.
I wonder why Lim and Andrews have larger offices than Glassman. Meanwhile, Glassman is bringing the show down.
Lea is too superstitious. That first version of the wedding didn't look real. I didn't see the party as a disaster. Wow, Reznick looks good in a dress.

Oh, and at this point "Ordinary Joe" is a priority, but given how many shows I have to watch after last week, who knows how long before I get around to either show.

I've been watching as many shows as possible on my old TiVo but now it's time to start watching shows on the new one. At this point, I haven't had time for this show. And I won't likely see tonight's episode until tomorrow because "Ordinary Joe" gets priority.

I'm still a week behind but this new person who is in charge is getting on my nerves. She was funny last week but I'm tired of her already. And I don't like change. Sean has adapted well but he's starting to have problems.
I'm surprised Lea hasn't been working hard already because changes involving computers have already been made.
The girl's biological mother had a beautiful accent. Both she and her daughter were quite pretty.
Lim's boyfriend is finding out he won't always get preferential treatment, though he shouldn't have really been getting it.
Glassman is grumpy these days. But he's willing to be a puppet to keep his clinic open.
Reznick having to be nice was going to be a bad thing, but I see she can fake it.
It was so funny when Sean came up with the solution and it was for the cake problem. But that gave Reznick an idea that saved the patient.

They continue to talk about topics in the OR that could distract from the main purpose.
I was amazed Shaun was able to persuade the new owner to make changes just for him. But she has ADHD so i guess she understands. But Shaun just can't cope with certain things.
I was also amazed Shaun went in that vat of grapes. I knew he wouldn't like it but figured he wouldn't do it at all.
Glassman is just acting depressed. He needs to get back to work.
They've never let insurance be a problem on this show. They shouldn't be doing it now. These changes are reminding me of "New Amsterdam" and I've never watched that show. I figured since it's a teaching hospital people's ability to pay just wouldn't come up. Hospitals shouldn't be a place to make profits.
I really didn't need to hear about Reznick's problems.
The males and females shouldn't be changing in the same room.

Never thought I'd see Reznick cry.
Shaun was right to be upset about the billboard but when someone was actually inspired by it he said it was fine.
Glassman made a good deal. I hope he's not leaving the show.
I wish they wouldn't have Shaun yell. At least he didn't get in trouble. As usual, he came up with a brilliant solution when everyone else was wrong.

Reznick cares about people? That's new.
Lea did something unethical just so Shaun would think he was doing better. But Shaun really isn't good with people. And he really shouldn't have followed that advice.
It's not looking good for Lim. If Andrews succeeds he'll be back in his old job.
Meanwhile, Lim's boyfriend has an uncertain future.

I ended up with something about the CMA Awards last week, but we were told it would be two weeks before the next episode. The TiVo, though, thought it was recording an episode.
I watched a movie where a young doctor was about to send a little girl home with medication. Her mother was determined to get answers because the girl had been sick for weeks and this was the worst episode yet. The doctor went and got an old man and the mother was told we need to operate NOW or this girl will die.
Wonder how Lim or Andrews or Glassman would have reacted if it had been one of their residents.

I couldn't say "Let's go Brandon" (and I watched "The Flash" the same night). I wanted to, but his situation was hopeless, no matter what Shaun did. I really hoped Shaun was succeed but all he could do was make sure Brandon could hear what his father said, if such a thing was possible. And the boy needed that heart. Park tried too hard and Shaun actually threatened to report him.
I liked the flashbacks where Shaun needed Glassman's help in college. There sure is a lot of that this week. Shaun solved his own problem and that could have helped Brandon. I don't recall if it did any good or if it just made the organs viable.
I'm tired of this new hospital owner telling doctors they can only do what the hospital can afford. Reznick couldn't give that woman the best treatment because it was expensive. That woman didn't know her situation could have been even better.

Glassman can't leave. I was so glad his ex was on and got him to do surgery. I was not glad how Shaun really needed him again.
I did look to see who was in the credits and when this comes back there will apparently be an exciting storyline about how all this cost-cutting is finally going to get that new owner in trouble.
I was really hoping Shaun could save that baby. Especially with ED medication. I don't like when he gets that upset and it was really unnecessary. The writers are trying to give us too much drama because people love that.

I started watching and it was the wrong episode because Brandon was on the table.
So I had to restart and after being fine last week for the other problem I had, I had to sign in and the password stored was not correct. If I had waited for tomorrow it might also have worked, but there are other reasons to be signed in. The Vent Thread explains why this was not easy.
The part I missed when the TiVo decided to restart was Lea telling Shaun. I knew that would be part of it because I had not seen that happen.
I still don't understand why Lea can't get back what she deleted. It has been my experience you can almost always get it back if the trash hasn't been emptied. And surely lea didn't take that permanent a step with that information. She was just hiding the information from Shaun.

Happy 30th to Freddie Highmore. One newspaper didn't even say he was on this show, but mentioned a previous series and a movie. I didn't know he was in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

I was really hoping Lim going after the new owner would work. Instead it backfired. And yet that promises some entertaining drama.
But seeing Shaun change his attitude and then have Lea still want to break up was really bad.

Lots to say.
I really didn't want Lim or Glassman to leave. but it wasn't looking good. I wouldn't mind if Andrews left. The owner is just causing more trouble.
Shaun can't leave. No, really, he can't. He has to be at that hospital or the series doesn't work any more. He could get a job as a surgeon somewhere else, I guess. I don't know how being a resident works, but that Asian man changed hospitals after one season.
Shaun and Lea are back together!
Reznick is so compassionate. When did THAT happen?
I thought the pretty sister looked familiar. I went back and looked at the credits. She was the law student on "Hellcats" and the roommate of Ashley Tisdale. She wasn't that pretty on that show, or maybe it was just who she was roommates with.
But the blonde I didn't even recognize. I should have. Barry's girlfriend on "The Goldbergs" and the star of its spinoff "Schooled". I was so glad she didn't die. That would have been so terrible.
My uncle had to speak the way the blonde girl did. Before he went into assisted living, I last saw him around the time The WB site shut down. His daughter was not keeping in close enough contact. He had several surgeries and no one told us. But once I found out he had moved, I realized I could just go visit him like I have several people from my church and some other people I found out about who lived in the same places. I was going to a library and, while it was a longer trip than I had expected, I was able to visit that one time. He had lost a lot of weight but he was happy, and it wasn't a nursing home. He had an apartment and there were lots of activities. But I never got back there because the pandemic meant restrictions, and he passed away shortly after that.

It was beginning to look like the whole cast was leaving. I sure was glad they found a solution that got rid of the owner and not the entire cast.
I wouldn't have felt so bad if Andrews left, though.
There are only two first-year residents left. I guess they can only handle showing so many.
Lea's job seems so important I don't see how she could just be fired. We never see her co-workers.

I forgot to mention last week that once again, a mother wants to sacrifice herself rather than her baby. This hurts the cause for those who are pro-choice. Even if you are very pro-life, you have to let the woman make the choice when it's either her or the baby. And there are pro-life people who won't even support that exception.
Reznick really wants to make the clinic work. I wasn't clear on the claim she was volunteering at assisted living. It looked like the man was taken to the hospital. I could have been wrong.
Andrews has a budget but he's going to really try to care about patients. I was happy he reinstated Lim. On the other hand, he's putting people's lives in danger to make himself look good. At least he's no longer making me want him to leave the show.
Glassman is needed on some surgeries. Other than that, I'm not sure what he's doing.
I like Lea's new hair color.
I really thought the girl would lose both parents and Shaun and Lea would end up adopting her. At least the girl helped Shaun develop people skills.
