Missouri is back! Looks like she needs some help with her psychic grand-daughter.

The episode was really good. I must admit they scared me a couple of times. And they fooled me.
I was disappointed that, once again, they brought someone back just so they could kill the person. Why did Missouri have to die? But It did make for good drama and she refused to die screaming. However, I am confused as to why Missouri did not defend herself or kill the wraith.
Missouri’s son was harsh and unforgiving towards her, but Patience was a sweet girl. The scene at the school was well done.
When Patience was tied to the chair and the wraith killed Jody, I was so angry at them. I am glad I was not tweeting or I would have been ranting. Then the wraith stabbed Dean and I wondered who was going to save him. Were Sam and Jack going to suddenly appear and rescue him? Yep, they fooled me entirely.
I liked the explanation Sam gave to Jack in response to why he was being nice to him. It helped Jack to relax, but Dean returned and ruined the good vibes. Dean felt so much grief over the loss of so many friends and family, he did not mince words when he lashed out about Jack. I thought the argument would drive Jack away, but he called out to Castiel instead.
I saw my beloved beautiful angel as the only light surrounded by pitch black darkness. Where are you Castiel?

Anti, you expressed my feelings exactly regarding this episode. Why bring a beloved character back just to kill her? Why did she have to die to save her family? It didn't make much sense to me.
I liked the son and grand daughter, and though they did well with the premonitions of Jody's and Dean's deaths (before the fact) really well. They had me fooled as well.
I had always thought Sam was treating Jack the way he is because he sees himself in Jack. When he thought he was evil in the first 5 seasons. He seems to think he can save Jack the way Dean saved him. But Sam wasn't the spawn of Lucifer. I'm not sorry that Dean is still angry and telling off Sam. He is right that all the deals they tried to make usually backfired badly on them. And I'm glad Jack heard him.
I think Castiel is in Jack's brain. Maybe when Jack needs counseling he can call on the angel in his head.
No more episodes to set up spin off series, please. Keep to hunting.

Cas being in Jack's head would explain why there was only darkness surrounding in. I never thought about that. My goodness, you are glad Jack heard Dean even though it hurt his little devil feelings? I heard there would be a spin-off, but never researched it.

I heard the spin-off will be called, "Wayward Sisters," and will feature Jody Mills and her band of girls. Don't know when it's supposed to begin. And, yes, I enjoyed Jack getting harshed out by Dean! Sam, too. Lately he's been a little too sanctimonious.

Thanks. I am glad it will not be Castiel dancing around in Jack's brain.

I was ok with this one but I was still not over fond of certain things, the old "bring back characters to kill theme" is getting very old. I think I will focus on the small moments that I did like. Sam talking to Jack, even thought Sam is being a little too good and a little too "I know better" than anyone else, but I still enjoyed his talk with Jack, Sam can be so open and heartfelt and when he does that he can cut thru most walls. His past actions and experiences can help him identify so well with others that are going thru their versions of trauma. But he needs to pay attention to Dean, because Dean needs help, really truly desperately needs help. I loved the fight between the boys at the end, because we finally saw Dean, he has been holding so much in and holding it down and pushing it back into a corner, he is drinking in his room by himself and just staring, that's not Dean, he has been hurt and down before but this , this is different. He let Sam have it, and that was the Dean that lashes out and can finally get some grief out. He meant every word, and I hope Sam heard him and realized what Dean was saying. Poor Jack, I felt sorry for him, he had to feel a lot of stress with Sam and then when he heard Sam and Dean fighting , you could tell how much it upset him, he had tears in his eyes when he called for Cas. That little moment when Jody squeezed Dean's arm, she tries so hard to be a support to him. I felt Missouri being back was wasted and when did she become a hunter??? and I don't feel we will get to know James well, and I wasn't overly fond of Patience, but I am willing to give her a chance in future outings. All the ladies of the Wayward series are currently shooting the pilot, I wish them luck. Cas is not in Jack's head, but I am not saying where he is
