This was another good episode. In real life, I hate to see people argue, but I enjoy Sam and Dean’s hot exchanges. Maybe I enjoy it because that is when they are truly honest with each other. Dean is so darn blunt when he expresses his feelings about Jack and he does not care that Jack hears him. I just shake my head.
The discussion with Mia was enlightening. Sam finally vented and expressed his anguish over never having close ties with Mary the way Dean did.
I enjoyed that emotional scene. My sweet Jack sat silently by himself wishing Dean would like him. I liked the scene where Mia took the form of Jack’s mother and said exactly what he needed to hear.
The jealous shapeshifter got what he deserved. I am glad Jack used his power to save the day and earned a compliment from Dean.
Dean gave Sam a real apology. He has matured.
I loved seeing Castiel even though he was in The Empty where dead angels and demons sleep. The cosmic entity was petulant and mean. Cas has learned from Dean how to talk back and he let the cosmic entity know he would make his wakefulness extremely miserable. Welcome back, Cas.
Ha-ha moment - Mia: Dean, do you journal? Dean: Yes, ever since I was a little girl.
Confused moment – Mia came down the stairs to meet with the boys. Why did she not see the blood on the rail?

I enjoyed this one, and YaY we got Cas back. I did enjoy seeing the Sam and Dean interactions and like you Anti, the conversations were good, I did enjoy them being honest about their mom, I am glad to see Sam stand up to Dean every so often, but don't understand why they always leave the room afterward.
I like that Jack was able to see his "mom", I think that was important for him and maybe he will feel a little better about himself, and it didn't hurt that Dean gave him a compliment also. I just hope Jack stays good.
I really enjoyed see Cas v Cas in the Empty, I like the persona of the fake Cas, I would have liked to have found out who it really was in the empty and it might would have been nice to see the true form. I enjoy it when Misha gets the chance to show real emotion and to act in a different way than normal Cas.
I think the next 2 episodes could have some tear-jerking moments, keep the Kleenex close!

I enjoyed this episode so much more than last week's.
Shape-shifters! Always a good bad.
I am finding that I really like the Jack character. His interactions with Dean and Sam are great. I loved his little smile when Dean gave him a compliment.
I like the back and forth arguments between Dean and Sam. Wouldn't it be boring if they were just lovey-dovey and in total agreement all the time? Well, I think it would be.
So, Castiel isn't in Jack's brain but in a new place we've never heard of before, the empty. I do think it was Jack who "woke" Cas up. I was a bit confused over the entity that then appeared and took Cas's form. Why does the empty need a caretaker who always sleeps? Did he send Cas back to the world? Is Cas still an angel? Does he still have angelic powers? I was happier with Cas being dead. I thought his character had over-run its course. O well, I'll see what happens with him.
Looking forward to next week.
