Based on the title, I think our boys are going to get stung. I have been excited to see every episode this season.

There is a high school football game airing at 8 PM locally so Supernatural is scheduled to air at 10 PM. If the game runs late, I will watch our show in the morning.

This was a good Dean and Sam episode. They agreed to get something for a demon in exchange for a spell, but thank goodness they did not make a deal that involved their souls.
I thought Dean was really funny when he cringed because he had to insert his hand in the opening. After all that drama, all he got was a finger prick. His divining rod movements kept me laughing.
Smash and Grab were cute nicknames for thieves. Smash had said Dean was just a pretty face; she did get the pretty face part right, but he is more than that.
I loved Sam’s solution for getting past the poisonous and painful darts. That was great! But, once again, they had their backs turned while the villain freed himself. I bet all of us knew that was going to happen.
I wonder if we will see Smash again.

I have to admit, I didn't think much of the previews but I really enjoyed it.
In a way it is nice to just see the guys work a case by themselves, but I miss Cas. I thought the demon Bart had potential, but oh well. I did enjoy his nicknames of his "employees" Smash did have the Charlie vibe going for her, I am curious to see why she made the deal.
Big tough badass Dean Winchester being afraid to put his hand in the opening was hilarious! I laughed out loud at that, he was so silly then. I did enjoy seeing him like that after all his troubles from the first part of the season. Sam's solution to the darts was funny too and smart, but you are right Anti, they turned their back on the "supposed bad guy" and he gets away.
I overall enjoyed most of this episode except for the part where Sam blows on the paper to put it out, really Sam??? come on, don't make the guys look that stupid. But the guys not wanting to keep their part of the bargain was nice to see, how they reacted to what Shtrike (sp) said was typical Winchesters, they weren't going to keep the deal after what they found out.

Sam blowing on the paper was dumber than turning their backs on the immortal man who was trying to kill them. At least, he was bound. I wonder if they really cringe when they read the scripts sometimes. You're right...they never told us what Smash traded her soul for. But she said if she had it to do over again, she would not do it. She might be free of her deal since Shrike is dead, Crowley is dead, and Asmodeus is too busy with other things to keep up with deals made before his time.

Pretty good episode where Dean and Sam got to be more than back-up.
I wonder why Dean was the one whose blood had to be used since both he and Sam had been to Hell and back? Liked seeing Sam being the nerdy guy offering Bard the demon killing knife. Loved Bart's two minions, Smash and Grab. Pretty cute and defined their characters. Wondered about Grab's spell to make Dean's arm point toward the vault. Even though Dean was funny not wanting to put his hand in, I thought it was a little overplayed. Both Dean and Sam have faced far more hazardous situations before without squealing like a girl.
The vault was Indiana Jones fun. Pretty clever to send the man who could not die through the many poison darts.
Too bad Grab got killed. I wonder about Smash. You think we may see her again?
Also, too bad about the guy that Bart killed. Turns out HE was the good guy.
I thought the ending was weak. The torching of Bart was set up very poorly and his holding onto the spell and the boys not rushing in to get it before it burned was pretty bad.
At least the boys are on the same side re: carrying on; finding Jack; rescuing Mom and hunting in general.
Looks like the fall finale will be good.

I have a tendency to forget Sam went to hell. SoCal, you made a good point about why did it have to be Dean. When Dean was "squealing like a girl", he was whining about there might be spiders and other creepy things in the opening. I thought he should be more worried about losing his hand.
