The third attempt to record "Kevin" succeeded. I really like this show. It makes me laugh. "The Mayor" does not amuse me. I feel the opposite way. Most of the laughs on "Kevin" come from the annoying angel. In the case of "The Mayor", if Ed was a regular, I'd have an obvious number three. However, the mayor himself isn't impressing me.

It was funny when he was soaking wet when he left the elevator. It makes me laugh when he looks as if he is arguing with himself and people are staring at him. When he was outside and looked like he was doing a weird rain dance, his niece and sister were confused. He looked so funny doing that, I kept laughing. Kevin does a lot of humorous stuff.

Okay, we agree on all of this. Wait, the elevator? I can't remember an elevator, so you must have seen an episode I haven't seen yet.

That is so funny, but I agree the yellow blob is a great character.
"Kevin": The elevator scene is in the 2nd episode, titled "Listen Up". I will not spoil it for you.

I watched seven episodes of "Kevin (Probably) Saves the World" and I am now caught up on that show. I really enjoy it. I watched two. I would be a lot happier if Kevin were actually helping people without getting nagged by that "angel" and if it were funny, which it seems to be. She seems content with what he is doing now. Kevin broke up a marriage. I found that entertaining. I had forgotten he tried to commit suicide, which makes his being on that roof much more serious. I like Tyler. And Kevin stole a clock for his boss. Now I never suspected that's what he was doing, but when she said the sister took everything, she didn't happen to mention how the clock wasn't included. And Kevin had no trouble getting in the storage unit, so I had no reason to believe it didn't belong to Tyler's boss. I live just a few houses away from one of these places, so I hope we never have as much drama as storage units tend to have on TV. The sister seemed nice, which was surprising, until she found out what Kevin did. The boss wasn't as evil when she finally showed some emotion. But I was rally surprised by the ending. The "angel" has been meeting with another "angel", and I wish she was assigned to Kevin instead. They are having trouble getting the others involved. I also watched "9JKL". What a waste of time. The other Kevin "Can Wait". I saw "Will and Grace" but it's not as good as I was hoping. I will still watch more. I finally had time for Henry Louis Gates, who revealed Larry David and Bernie Sanders are related. I had heard he did this. Both had terrible stories in their family history, related to The Holocaust. Also two "Dynasty" episodes. That show has its own thread.

I like Tyler too and I am glad he is Kevin's friend. I also like Amy, Reese and Nate. In real life, I would never warm up to the boss lady.

I have one "Kevin" left to go and finished up "Will and Grace".
I liked Dave and for a while I was hoping he would replace Yvette. But he's not as helpful as I was hoping and doesn't have the personality after all.
The show was getting better until Amy kicked Kevin out. Then something happened that I had been hoping would happen. Yvette revealed herself. But then things got weird and I realized this couldn't last. There was only one way. A fantasy. And that's show it ended up.
I wondered where Kevin would go but his adventures made things entertaining. Kristen looked hot in her dress so I knew she was going out. She wouldn't dress that way for Kevin.
And then her mother got a chance to enjoy life just in time.
I was pleased Reese did so well with the play. She doesn't have to act if she was that valuable to making the play happen.
Kevin needed to help the man in the Urkelmobile. Actually, Urkel's was a little smaller and the door was on the front. Everything turned out all right since the man got a local show.
Reese was found because Kevin figured out how she had followed him. And because she fell and there was a mystery, Amy has a new boyfriend. I can't remember what I was going to say but she's not quite as socially awkward as the cast of "Big Bang Theory", but somehow she did remind me of them trying to have a social life.

I got caught up on "Kevin" and then discovered there was a new one.
The "angel" revealed herself to Tyler and this has caused problems. Now he wants to find her.
The other "angels" now know the truth and that they should work with Kevin's "angel" to find the righteous.
I liked seeing Reese working so hard and being so valuable to the school play.
I have this problem of not recognizing people if I see them when I don't expect to. I didn't know that teacher was Kristen. Kevin did such a good job teaching her class. She hadn't expected him to actually do that. Now he has a job.
Kristen wore that hot dress again, or at least a hot dress.
Amy is so pretty.
I know there's more to say but after this day I'm tired.

The title "The Ugly Sleep" must refer to the way Kevin looked when the "angels" were watching him sleep. I like the term "messenger" better than "angel" for Yvette because she can be obnoxious, like in the way she described Kevin and stroked her own ego in the opening scene. I expect Kevin's teaching job to end in disaster. Jessica, the new student, called herself an urban forager and ate the other students' leftovers. That embarrassed Reese, but after the students got over the shock, they were welcoming to Jessica. I liked that. I laughed so hard when Nate looked at Amy's two black eyes and told her to check with him in two weeks. Then, he ran away. Tyler is always so positive and I loved his joyful reaction when he received the envelope postmarked from Canada.

I watched Lethal Weapon, Bull, NCIS, The Good Doctor, and Kevin Probably Saves the World.
"Kevin Probably Saves the World" episode "Solo" was funnier than I thought it would be. I thought it was pretty cool that Adam was invisible to Kevin (and me) but everyone else could see him. The Universe made sure Kevin knew who his target was, although it made Adam feel worse than he already did. But Kevin and his crew did help Adam. I should have made a thread for this show because I always want to discuss it.

I'm glad Kevin stopped the teacher from being a victim and took on the role himself, making Adam a hero. I was very surprised Amy participated. The janitor didn't look too happy after all that happened. Nate did a good job distracting the security guard and I think they like each other. I forgot to mention how much I enjoyed seeing Kevin help the man who needed clothes for an interview, especially when he was in his purple boxers. I liked how it worked out for the man's wife. Kevin was on "Match Game" that same week.

KyleEl I tried moving portions of a post, but could not capture the date so that the posts would be in order. Some sections of a post belong in the "What do you watch?" thread. I can quote those parts and post them to the thread, but they would appear as a new post by me.

Caught White-Handed
It was very strange when Kevin touched Tyler’s hand and transferred white paint. Only Tyler would be so nice about that. The paint led to an interesting situation which seemed doomed to end in disaster. While in the courtroom, Kevin and others interrupted the proceedings in support of the Acorn Fairy. I burst into laughter when they got what they deserved, but they were following Kevin’s lead.
It was funny that the policemen were picking and choosing what they wanted from the gifts delivered for the Acorn Fairy.
I did not suspect Kevin of pretending to be Leslie in Canada. I wonder if he chose the name Leslie Nielsen because the actor was Canadian. The smiting was funny. I was surprised when Tyler accepted there would be no relationship, but I should have known better.
The scene with the boat and then the fountain happened so fast, I do not know where Kevin was.

I didn't think what they did in the courtroom was so bad, but it was funny what resulted. Barney Fife once put the whole town in jail when Sheriff Andy was on vacation. There was a better way to let the judge know how much they cared about The Acorn Fairy. I was relieved how it ended because I thought Kevin had messed up her life.
I was hoping Tyler had finally accepted he wouldn't see the woman again.

Nate and Amy continue to have very awkward moments in their attempts to date, but it will probably work out for them.
Kevin and the supporters in the courtroom did not do anything bad, but they interrupted the judge and the proceedings. If we let people do that, there would be no..."Order in the court!"

Fishtail
The trip to Canada turned out better than I expected. I was confused near the end by the transition from hugging Shea, the 2nd righteous person, to hugging the cab driver. Why did the messengers erase Kevin’s memory?
Kevin finally made Tyler angry enough with him to end their friendship (temporarily). It was fun watching them do the tricks with the fish until Dave messed up.
I continue to enjoy the awkward relationship between Amy and Nate. I did not think they had fooled Reese when Nate pretended to stop by for pancakes. Amy is very different than I thought. She has an elaborate collection of ladders and wanted to use one to help Nate spice up her sex life. Kevin did not want to hear about her kinky sex plans, but what brother would? They are so funny.
Poor Reese, her friends are not happy about the play, but it is good that they are still her friends.
I am not interested in the messengers becoming human.

Don't you mean Kevin's memory?
I thought things weren't going to turn out right when they had the accident with the fish. Kevin and Tyler had helped the man, and this had to go and happen. But things worked out.
I don't like that Amy and Nate ended up in bed. Why does that always have to happen? They were just friends. I do like the humor that the situation caused when resse got involved.
I didn't pick up on Kevin not wanting to hear about Amy's sex life. I know I wouldn't.
I didn't like that Tyler reacted the way he did. He seemed to have forgiven Kevin. I would have been happier with him being mad but possibly willing to forgive.
I don't mind the messengers being able to show themselves but seeing them hurt themselves is another matter entirely.

KyleEl Thanks. I corrected the name to Kevin. I was still thinking about Shaun on "The Good Doctor". Ironically, when I am writing about Shaun, I keep thinking the "young" doctor because of "Young Sheldon". I have to really concentrate to keep the names straight. I think Nate and Amy would be funnier if they never actually wound up in bed.

I enjoyed the funny moments like Kevin’s vision of himself leaning into a coffin while he was kissing Kristen. I especially enjoyed Kevin’s dilemma when the universe kept returning the leaves to the ground because I could relate to his frustration. I do not think about Kevin being extremely selfish so it is a good thing they keep reminding me of how he was. It helps me to appreciate the changes in him.
I enjoyed Marc’s journey, but I doubt we will see him again. Amy’s reaction to seeing him in the bathroom was funny and it looked as if he was wearing her robe. I enjoyed Nate’s humor as he discussed the feasibility of arresting Marc, like when he said the tent was the wrong color.
I am not a fan of the messengers having human qualities; therefore, when Dave and Yvette ate the pizza, I was not amused. However, it turned out okay.
I was happy Tyler enjoyed the special treat Kevin arranged for him.

They threw this episode away. No one would have watched it during the Olympics.
I feel like Kevin did when I try to rake leaves. I don't know why they come back weeks later. I'll never get a significant number cleaned up.
I liked how Amy caught Marc in the bathroom but I was pleased she helped later.
I liked that Tyler was pleased with what Kevin did and I hope they can resume their friendship.
I thought maybe Dave and Yvette had the flu, but I understood perfectly when they realized they were hungry. I didn't like that they ate the pizza because that was for Tyler.
It's no surprise the truck broke down. It is a '69.

I laughed every time Kevin, Reese and Amy scared each other. Amy did overdo the placement of the cameras, but catching Kevin was funny.
I expected Becky to make spiral ham that was loosely spiraled so that it would be decorative. I did not see Yvette try to stop the machine after it ran hot. It is a good idea for Becky to go to school and learn how to make products.
Poor Dave is gone. If the messengers die, next season will be very different.
I am curious to see if Amy and Reese jump to the conclusion that the image on the camera is a ghost.
