Witches.
And it looks like they've got Dean under their spell.

I enjoyed watching the episode and it moved the story along. I loved seeing the cheerful Dean even though he was affected by a spell. I enjoyed the way he told Sam to be nice because his love interest has a sister. Sam knew something was truly wrong when Dean was cheerfully taking the spell book to the woman. Next time, Sam should remember Dean throws a serious knock-out punch. Those sisters give witches a bad rap because they were just mean. I did not feel at all sorry for what Rowena did to them and Dean and Sam did not look sorry either. It was interesting that Sam and Rowena had a similar experience with Lucifer and that gave Sam the opportunity to talk to someone who would understand. I remember how badly Lucifer tortured Sam and now Sam is having sleepless nights again. I do understand why Sam gave Rowena the page from the book, and that would have been a good time to tell Dean the truth about their Lucifer experiences. Sam's explanation to Dean was evasive, as usual. I knew Lucifer would get revenge on the demon that was taunting him. Lucifer realized anger would increase his strength. If Castiel was supposed to be taunting him to trigger the response, his taunts sounded weak and lackluster to me. But it did get the demon’s attention and he fell into the trap. Castiel cannot trust Lucifer and they are not allies. The scene where they stabbed each other seemed rushed to me, but I might watch it again for clarification. SoCal You will never be rid of Rowena now that she is truly immortal.

I liked this one a lot, I grew to like Rowena and I am glad she is back, I hated the bloodbath of last season was truly awful and am glad to see that 2 of the hit list have come back. I thought her reaction to Crowley's death was interesting, she preferred a mutual hate thing with him but preferred a hateful child to a dead hero? odd Her real and true horror and fear of Lucifer felt very honest to me, she had been thru a awful thing, and Sam is one of the few people/things on earth who has the same experience. I enjoyed their conversation and any of their interactions together. I wonder exactly what all was in that spell she did at the end, was it just me or did anyone else notice the blue cat eyes she had? Dean is so funny and odd sometime, him acting like he hadn't a care in the world while he was getting the Grimoire and then telling Sam he was going to have her move in with him. Sam and he fighting over the book, and then getting rooted to the ground by Rowena. When Sam was trying to get the hex bag, I could hear Dean saying , come on, your like 8 feet tall it was nice to see a continuation of Sam's "problem" at least it is not in one episode and gone the next. I did think the witches were a waste of time, but glad to see they all died at the end. I am unsure about Cas and Lucifer, while I am glad to see them out, I am not sure that is Cas, he mostly seemed like Cas, but is it really Cas, Cas doesn't smile a lot, and he smiled a couple of times, but I was glad to see Cas/not Cas stab Lucifer at the end, I was glad to see him not MAKE the SAME MISTAKES all the time.

I wonder exactly what all was in that spell she did at the end, was it just me or did anyone else notice the blue cat eyes she had? Now that Rowena is not trying to destroy the Winchesters, I like her and her antics. She adds a sense of humor to some otherwise dark episodes. When she asked Dean if he got to 5th base, Dean looked shocked and said there is no 5th base. Then Rowena called him a poor sheltered boy and Dean’s expression was funny. I agree Rowena’s eyes did change. It seemed to me that when she cut herself, she might have exchanged her soul for something else. I enjoy the funny moments also. I feel it is our Castiel with a greater sense of hope than we are used to seeing. Around 15 minutes into the episode when Castiel was telling Lucifer about Jack and how Jack resurrected him, he seemed like Castiel reborn. He smiles when he thinks about Jack because he has faith in him. I hope I am right; I do not want another disappointment. *** Other humorous moments: When Rowena asked about music, Sam said Dean had a tape of Led Zeppelin’s Moby Dick with an 8 minute drum solo. Ouch! I know the cashier in the store was admiring Dean’s butt as he walked away.

Good episode, although I was not glad to see rowena return. An I can't believe she ws actually upset that Crowley was dead. She lies all the time. Which is why I wonder why Sam does it again......he gives in to a sob story from a known liar and give her a page from the book. I just know that somehow that's going to turn out bad.
I thought when Castiel took Lucifer out of Sam, he lost all the bad stuff he had in his head. Don't know why it's turning up now.
So how powerful is Rowena now. All those chains dropped off he and her eyes changed color just like demons and Lucifer. that cant be good.
Enjoyed the scenes with Lucifer and Castiel in jail. Mark is really the best Lucifer.
