I love it when Dean rolls his eyes and I was treated to numerous eye rolls when Ms. Astor was flirting with Sam.

The Horror! Dean had to sit in the back seat while someone else drove the Impala. His eyes were promising the guy some future pain.

Good grief! How many times can Sam get hit on the head with an object before he gets brain damage?

The lines in this episode are making me laugh so much. Dean saying Sam's Disney perfect hair cushions his head was funny. And when Sam asked what would Dean do if someone stole the Impala, Dean said he would kill them; he would kill them all.

I love humor and this was a really entertaining episode. They managed that while also securing one of the elements for the spell to open the rift. I anticipated the answer to the most holy man issue very early in the episode, but it was nice to watch it unfold. Also, I enjoyed the orchestral music that played several times.
Too bad the flirtatious woman could not be trusted, but I do not think Sam was interested in her anyway.
Dean was fearless, and the mob boss was unable to intimidate him. Sam kept looking at Dean as if to ask what the heck was he doing.
I keep laughing at the way Dean totally zoned out after Sam asked him about someone taking Baby. If Dean cannot have her, nobody can.
Most surprising line to me was when Dean said "I have faith."
It was a feel good episode, and I feel good after watching it.

"All the time I hear people saying the world's not perfect. And they're right, it's not. But do you use that as an excuse? Do you use it to excuse your own sins, your failings and your laziness? Do you use it to give a bad man power because the world's not perfect? Or do you work? Do you try and improve things in whatever way you can? The world will never be perfect. If good men do good things, it can be better. Every day can get better." -Father Lucca to Sam and Dean Perfect!!!

Sorry for my lateness, I was busy and kind of forgot.
On first watch I thought it was lame and only a few funny things, second watch helped some, won't be a super one for me but it has some good moments. b I did like Sam's hair comment, and Dean totally zoning out when talking about Baby was priceless. I really liked the priest, I would like to think he provided some hope to the guys, we shall see. Dean being so fearless when confronted by the mob, and Sam looking at him like what are you doing, ordinarily I would find this funny, but this is Sam who was Sam F*****g Winchester in S11 Red Meat, and he acts scared now?? Doesn't completely work for me. But it ended up ok for me.

Hi novemberschild I am glad you popped in as I was wondering if you had given up on the show. I am glad you have not given up, but it is obvious you are not really enjoying this season. I think the debates on The CW website lead people to start analyzing episodes for fodder for their debates and some people love doing that. I hope you can enjoy each episode as a stand-alone episode because it will be entertaining. Otherwise, the Scooby Doo episode will probably have you tearing your hair out. As long as they do not make any of the guys seem downright stupid, I am going to relax and be entertained. But, as always, this is a safe place for you to gripe, complain, and say exactly how you feel and not be judged.

Thanks Anti I have not given up yet, and don't know that I could ever give up completely, I do think the end is getting close and I don't want to give up before that. I think if the writing was a little more cohesive this show would be so much better, but I guess I need to realize that this far into it, there will be duds now and then, at least for me, I know not everyone feels that way. I do tend to view them as stand alone for the most part and that helps, I have also stopped going to spoiler sites, not because I don't want to be spoiled, but because I get tired of reading others negative complaints all the time, now that can really affect how I view an episode. I tried to not read others reviews before I put my own down, but that sometimes doesn't work. I do still enjoy the show for the most part, I stated watching live at 99 problems and have only missed 1 time in all those years. I love the interactions between Dean, Sam, Cas, and now this year Jack is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. So for now, I will keep watching, though to be honest I don't care for cartoons and may not like the next one much, but again that is just me. The last thing I want to do is affect anyone's viewpoint by my negativity, mine is mild compared to something's I see.

Your comments sound logical to me and do not detract from my pleasure in reading them. I blocked at least 90% of the people on the Supernatural forums because of over-the-top harsh comments that took the fun out of reading posts. I watched a lot of cartoons with the children, but Scooby Doo was not one of my favorites. I wish they had put them in a cartoon version of "Riverdale". Dean could chase Veronica while Sam help them solve some of their mysteries. That series should be rated "R".
