Cameron Black was entertaining. I like the enthusiastic reaction of Mike Alvarez, the FBI Agent. That is the way I would have reacted to a surprise meeting with David Copperfield.
When the show started and Cameron said to pick a card and to touch the TV screen, I did and it was the card he knew it would be. I recall a magician doing that years ago and I still do not know how they can know a million people will pick the same card.
The story arc of Cameron's twin being framed adds a serious dimension and tracking the mysterious woman should be interesting.

Forced Perspective
I enjoyed Deception and I like watching Cameron perform bits of magic. I am glad Cameron did not get in too much trouble for going to the criminals’ club without permission. He has a good team that works quickly and efficiently.
I am also glad Cameron and Jonathan are on good terms and will work together on plans to solve the mystery of who framed them. Agent Daniels had already made a murder wall with details to help solve the case.
The mysterious woman has her own wall and it looks as mysterious as her. Some of the lines led from Cameron to vintage photographs. It looked extremely complicated.

I liked how Cameron and his team were able to fool the man who pretended Noah was on a game show. That was all pretty amazing and now I'm feeling more strongly about this show.
I seem to recall a similar plot on another show where people were supposedly on a game show.
When I did watch this, I started watching in time to finish before "Scorpion" started. It was not over in time for that and I discovered this in time to stop the news on the CW affiliate from being recorded, before "Good Girls" started since it starts a minute late. I could have easily lost something. I had to read newspapers but didn't know what a risk I was taking.

Escapology
SEASON 1, EPISODE 3 • NEW 3/25/18, 10:01 PM ON WMARDT 2 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC

Escapology
I watched the episode for twenty minutes and realized I would enjoy it more if I watched it while I was not sleepy. I am glad I waited because it was very good. What they were doing was complex and I found it to be nerve-wracking. I know what to do when it is nerve-wracking so it did not spoil the story for me.
Bombs had been placed in an enclosed area of an art gallery and an employee was trapped inside with some expensive paintings. Cameron and his team worked their escapology magic to fool the perp who was watching them via cameras.
Cameron asked his brother to talk to an inmate to get information on how he had broken into the gallery. His brother came through for him, but the request placed Johnathan in the unpleasant position of owing the inmate a favor. It would be wise for Cameron to make progress on solving Johnathan’s case before he asks for more favors.
Dina likes Mike, but he talked about his wife as if he still cares about her. I was a little confused by that encounter because I wondered if he meant his wife was deceased, but that was not clear to me.
I was sure sparks would be flying between Cameron and Kay by now, but not yet.
Father and son relationships often lead to unsavory results and that was the case this time. The son of the owner of the paintings arranged for theft of the paintings, murder, and ransom. He felt his father cared for the art more than he cared about him. That was probably true, but it did not justify murder. His intention was to detonate the bombs while his accomplice was in the room. The first destroyed painting was a forgery but the other paintings were originals.

The father who cared more about the paintings than his son looked familiar. I went back and looked at the opening credits. He was Dean Cain's Lex Luthor.
Cameron's brother was in trouble. But it was the only way to get the information.
I was relieved the destroyed painting was a forgery.
There was one moment that was not accounted for when the person watching the room would have had to be distracted and I didn't see how that was done.

I knew the name Christine Ko from somewhere. Turns out she was one of the stars of "The Great Indoors". It was a show about a magazine for people who liked the outdoors which was being run by young people who loved technology and had never been outdoors. A veteran writer for the magazine who loved camping and other activities was trying to change that.
I enjoyed watching them try to put one over on the bad guy but I was always worried about Cameron.
Cameron's brother is getting in trouble and that's not good. Now he's assisted an escape.
I wondered why, when they first went to the bridge, the FBI was even involved yet. It wasn't clear this wasn't just a murder. Later it was obvious the FBI had jurisdiction.

I never thought for one moment the girl was in trouble or that she was dead. But, like you, I was concerned for Cameron. I like Cameron's team and trust them to come to the rescue when he needs help, but switching doors in two minutes was quite an achievement.
I have been wondering all along about Jordon's role in the group. I thought he might be Gunther's assistant but he is more than that. He has slight of hand skills like a magician and he switched the criminal's gun with a non-lethal one.
I know Johnathan's plight adds an element of danger to the story, but I hate seeing him in that situation. The FBI is keeping its promise to help him and I hope they find something that will get him out of that prison.

Deception was excellent. I must say Cutmore-Scott is excellent at playing different characters. Cameron and Jonathan seem so different that I do not think of them as the same actor. Usually I do when one person is playing two roles.
Cameron had a difficult time keeping up with the young taggers who were leading him to the meeting place, but he did not give up.
I am impressed by the artists who can quickly paint huge murals and it fascinates me. That was a neat trick to have the artwork already on the wall and all Cameron had to do was blow the dust off and reveal it. His personal attempt at tagging was hilarious.
Fortunately, the twins’ father taught them to fight very well so they can defend themselves.
I was very happy they found the artwork of the mystery woman’s eyes. They are one step closer. Time for a Mini Quiz.

Jonathan is very different from Cameron. And he's tougher than I thought. Of course, Riggs' father was tough too. I'm very concerned.
When the one artist was supposedly killed in the explosion, I thought he might have somehow gotten away.
That was a beautiful church. I have seen stained glass windows missing before, at a church I used to go to as a young child and still do occasionally, but they were being restored.

Unless I wanted to go to bed after midnight, I had to wait. I watched an entire episode of "A.P. Bio". I don't remember how late I started watching "Timeless", but if I had avoided going back to see anything I missed or seeing any commercials, it might have been possible with jumping back and forth.

The Mystery Woman likes Jonathan, but she seems to have ill feelings towards Cameron.
Why did Cameron stay in the mask when his brother came into the vault? How will they save him? I want both brothers to survive.
Agent Mike is very nice even though Jonathan kept taking digs at him. I like all of the FBI agents.
I don't like the Mystery Woman.

I should have realized if someone was wearing a bad disguise that it was Cameron. All I thought was how weird the guy looked.
Jonathan is kind of a jerk but it was good to see him interact with the others.
I hope they can find a way to save Cameron. I suspect they haven't told us something. On this show and "Scorpion", the details came later, but always in the same episode. This is a two-parter and I should have waited and watched it all at once.

Favorite episode so far. Dramatic and it resolved parts of the mystery. Mystery woman’s reaction was hilarious when the smuggler suggested she should be sent in for his pleasure. The Devlin’s security badge said “FAKE BADGE YOU IDIOT”. Mystery Woman liked and wanted Jonathan by her side, but she thought Cameron was the one she met 20 years ago. Therefore, she “chose the wrong one”.

Wow. I knew they would explain what happened but I wasn't expecting that. They went all the way back and told the story from Cameron's point of view. I got concerned when Cameron was told he'd be fired if he helped steal the diamond. But when the FBI was involved it was clear they were letting him help so they could capture the mystery woman or at least stop the crime. They did succeed in stopping the crime. The rest of the team was much more involved than we had seen the previous week.
I liked the flashbacks to when they were kids. Obviously, Jonathan could do the tricks himself because Cameron wasn't in Iceland.
I was hoping they had come up with a way to keep Cameron from being killed in the vault. But it all came down to Cameron figuring out how to open it himself while not being able to breathe. Some of his stunts would have involved holding his breath.
The mystery woman looked hot in her swimsuit. I don't remember her hilarious reaction.
