I like the promo I just saw. It said "NO GOOD GUYS NO BAD GUYS ONLY SURVIVORS".

Oh, brother.
There's something else I've been watching that reminds me of this. Or maybe I'm thinking of a movie.

The commercial looks very unpleasant. I didn't dream the show would still be like that.

I enjoyed the way the first episode focused on Clarke's survival. I think it was great she united with a young girl and technically raised the child as if she was her daughter. Years have passed and now they are being joined by members of a prison transport crew. I think life will get harder and violent after that.

Years have passed and now they are being joined by members of a prison transport crew. I think life will get harder and violent after that. What a depressing episode. I didn't see how I would ever be able to get through a whole season like that. I'm curious about where they filmed. Now that place Clarke eventually found was beautiful. How in the world was it not destoryed? Though the people were killed. Except one. I'm kind of disappointed we didn't get to see more of how their relationship developed, but I did enjoy seeing them together. Just like a mother and daughter. I actually had a decision to make. I was going to watch an ABC News special which was much more positive but I wanted to see more of this. And then the group still in space finally appeared. I didn't know what could possibly be happening. I wanted to see more of them. So there were others in space all this time. And they're not nice people. Although the main cast was mostly juvenile delinquents and they turned out all right. No, not looking good. And where Octavia and the others are ... well, this was not something I ever wanted to see. And I made the mistake of looking at scenes from next week. No, the ABC News special. See the Young Sheldon thread. Oh, wait, that hadn't started. "Splitting Up Together". See the favorite characters thread.

Red Queen
SEASON 5, EPISODE 2 • NEW 5/1/18, 9:00 PM ON WNUVDT 54 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC
Octavia must take guidance from an unlikely ally when the future of the bunker and all those inside it is jeopardized. I'm not clear on what happened. Was that Clarke? It looked like something exploded. If they can't get out, what do they do with dead bodies? I can't believe they didn't explain how the group got through six years, but if we are seeing everyone else after that much time, I guess that's the only way. How does Octavia manage to defeat all those tough guys? It was sad to see what happened to Thelonious. Why did he have a son?

Sleeping Giants
SEASON 5, EPISODE 3 • NEW 5/8/18, 9:00 PM ON WNUVDT 54 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC
Bellamy leads the charge investigating a potential way home; Clarke and Madi deal with the new, uncertain threat to their home. Is this what happened? Okay, what I remember is that they boarded this ship and found a bunch of frozen prisoners. They had to decide if killing them was justified since unfreezing them would be a major threat. Bellamy didn't know he didn't have an escape, but if he had believed he didn't, he would have gone with the others. I was worried about Clarke, but things worked out. For the first time, we heard a reference to religion. Maybe religion has been mentioned. As a former altar boy, that man might have been more compassionate than the others. I was expecting Clarke's answer when she was asked how the world was destroyed. Which time?

I can't believe I watched two at once, but I'm running out of anything to watch. I might get to the point where I have to just forget about the "Riverdale" episode I missed and just start watching, hoping I'll get a chance to watch that missing one for free. I'll have to watch the two free ones I missed on the CW site anyway while they're still there.
But for now, I have to put myself through the agony of watching this.
It's almost worth it as I watch how happy everyone is to see Clarke again. And Octavia is not so mean. She has met Clarke's "daughter" and, while we thought telling the truth about her was going to have dire consequences, maybe not. But Clarke is telling everyone the girl survived because of a blood transfusion.
Abby is too valuable to kill, but some people regard her as a traitor for helping the enemy.
I'm not good at remembering faces so I thought Echo was the woman in charge of the prisoners. Echo is gorgeous. I'm hoping she'll survive but I'm very confused as to what she is trying to accomplish.
They keep torturing Murphy with that collar. I can't remember if the Asian girl figured out how to get it off.

I'm all caught up. It was a struggle.
I forgot about Abby's addiction when I commented earlier but that ahs become a real problem.
One more reunion! Raven and Abby.
Raven didn't want to do it, but she did. Maybe, just maybe they have accomplished something. Maybe Abby found the cure.
I'm worried about Madi, but not as worried as I was. Clarke wants to surrender and they just have to take care of the Octavia problem. This seems to have been accomplished.
I like how someone asked, "Who's the hobbit?" about Madi. I didn't know that's who she was until alter and I had to go back to that other scene.
Bellamy couldn't kill Octavia and I'm glad he resisted. They found another way. It's amazing anyone survived in space. It's great that they found a solution to the food problem in the bunker.
I liked the scene where they just seemed to be looking at how beautiful that one place was and taking about the future (it was a man and a woman but I forget who). That is a beautiful place where they are.

Octavia woke up and that's not good. She's as mean as before, if not worse. And Madi is the new commander. At least I think that's right. It was hard talking Clarke into letting it happen and I'm not sure she did.
Abby is only allowed to live because she's got the cure. But they are very selective about who gets it.
I'm still not clear on what the defectors are doing.
The traitors seem to be in real trouble. They might end up in that arena where the fights to the death take place.

Octavia can be so nice. And she doesn't want to kill her brother. I did like watching them as kids. Bellamy and his opponents were good at coming up with a strategy.
But it doesn't matter. I can't believe she did that. Those plants would have kept them alive. Monty's efforts worked.
I didn't like seeing Abby like that. I'm not clear on why she can't do what she wants They need the cure.
This is such a depressing show and yet I want to know what's going to happen.

I forgot to mention Kane directed last week's episode.
Wow. I knew we would have a disturbing episode but I wasn't expecting that.
I do wonder what they were really eating.
Octavia was still human but she was not going to tolerate letting these people die if they didn't do the unthinkable. So the obvious solution was …
It was hard to watch Abby go through that. It's amazing Clarke knows what to do. I'm still not clear on how Abby got addicted, but anyway …
And now other unthinkable choices. This is a terrible world these people live in. And it would be so easy to just live together in harmony if they would just do it.

I haven't heard whether this was renewed, but if not, they found a great way to end it. I can't say it was worth everything to see that video. But that was the best thing they've done on this series in a long time.
There had to be some way of stopping those missiles. It was exciting watching them try to get in the ship before disaster. I can't believe they were able to take off with the blast so close.
Octavia actually seemed human again. Bellamy made quite a leader.

My goodness! This is the most violent series I have ever watched. It is 1000 times darker and more violent than The Outpost.

“You are my sister and a part of me will always love you.” That’s more than Octavia deserved but I am glad her brother finally stopped coddling her.
Did they always have cryogenic technology? I do not remember that.

I enjoyed the ending with Monty and Harper and Jordan Jasper Green. It was bittersweet but there is hope. They have an opportunity to destroy another civilization.
Maybe Bellamy and Clarke will be a positive influence.

I do not remember that. Let me put it this way. The woman in charge of the prisoners was 100 years pregnant.

On "Jeopardy" the teens had a category where TV characters were listed and they had to guess the show. Four out of five had people I had never heard of. But I knew this show!
