The boys are separated, one in this world, with Cas, and one in Apocalypse world, with Ketch. What could go wrong?

It seems like some time has passed since we last saw Mary and Jack. I wonder if they are still with Bobby. Please do not leave Dean in the colorless realm for more than one episode.
I will watch it when it airs tonight.

The episode was divided into two stories. I found the Gabriel story to be more interesting than the save Charlie story.
Gabriel wrote his story on the wall while he was still suffering and mute. When Castiel translated it, I thought the multiple hologram was the easiest explanation. The big question was how did the hologram look as if Gabriel’s grace exited his body when Lucifer stabbed him? I guess it is a moot point now though.
I was so happy and cheered when Gabriel destroyed Asmodeus and his "despised" white suit. But then Gabriel left. Sam looked so disappointed about that.
In the other realm, the angels were doing a lot of smiting. Ketch and Dean rescued Charlie, but we never saw Mary or Jack. I think it made sense for Dean to return and get more help. He thought they would be able to create another rift, but the arch angel grace was given to Gabriel. Dean’s anger and frustration was frightening.
They need another plan.

Lucifer was being nonchalant about doing anything godly. He was sitting on the throne and waiting to be worshipped while his first lady was mouthing off at him to do something. I was surprised he tolerated her.
I did enjoy Lucifer showing up at the exorcism. I liked the way he easily sent the demon away. I burst out laughing when the priests panicked and started throwing holy water at him. That was not a good idea.

I liked this episode much more than the cartoon.
Gabriel is one ungrateful archangel! Even though he saved Sam and Cas and killed Asmodeus, he still skipped out on them.
Even though it was good to see another Charlie, I thought the Dean/Ketch heartfelt chats during their 24 hour limited visit to Apocalypse world really out of character for Dean.
Mark Pelligrino's Lucifer was entertaining as always. Has Jo really left him?
Who will take over Hell? Wasn't Asmodeus the last knight of hell?
Where are Mary and Jack?

Hello, I hadn't forgotten, just hadn't gotten around to reviewing.
So of the 3 stories in the episode I think I liked Den/Ketch and Sam/Cas equally, I didn't care much for the Jo/Lucifer story. I was happy to see Jo stand up to Lucifer, but as long as he is acting like a child, that may not work out in her best interest.
I had thought he was lying about being able to create angels and give them their wings back and now we know for sure. How did Lucifer go from being one of the scariest characters on this show to being petulant child? he is not scary anymore.
I like Dean and Ketch, they worked well together, mostly and yay for Ketch knowing you have to be quiet when looking around and not just tromping thru the woods like Dean was, and thank goodness Ketch was able to patch Dean back up. I kind of thought Ketch might stay behind, I know he is a really bad guy, but I like him. I don't really care one way or the other about Charlie, I was never a big fan of hers other than thinking her death was extremely stupid. it was just a backhanded way to motivate Dean and Sam back then.
I like seeing Sam and Cas try to help Gabriel, we all know that Gabriel will most likely come back and help again, and YEAH for him killing Asmo whoever, what a stereotypical character and glad to see that awful outfit gone.
Good question SoCal, who will take over Hell now? Asmo was the last Prince of Hell.
I think Mary and Jack are fighting in the AU world, maybe at some point we will see them again, I miss Jack.
