Rowena is back? Looks like Death and a reaper are keeping tabs on Dean and Sam. Why?

what? me first?
ok, I really liked this one, we actually had a decent story and I really liked the interactions between certain characters. I enjoyed seeing Sam Dean and Rowena interact, and especially enjoyed Sam and Rowena getting thru to each other, even though I am not sure they would have killed each other, well maybe Sam would have, but you could see how much it bothered him. I like how they grudgingly ask her for help and even though they know they can never trust her totally, they still believe she is in their corner when needed.
It was funny to see her standing up and Sam in the chair and he was still almost as tall as she was LOL. Her calling Cas the handsome angel, and all 3 of them her little musketeers LOL, I love that.
I liked seeing Death and Rowena talk and Billie with her no nonsense style and not even being worried or bothered by what Rowena tried to do to her. It was nice to see some females interact and be very powerful. I am not one who thinks we need a ton of female characters but it is nice to see some stick around, they tend to die too fast.
I felt sorry for the angels (kind of) but felt very sad for Cas, even though he doesn't show a lot of emotion, you could see the pain, in his eyes as he saw what was really happening to heaven and the angels. I am curious to see where that goes.
However, where was Lucifer? wouldn't he have known that Cas was there, and wouldn't he have tried to kill him?

OK episode. I'm really to interested in Rowena and I find it completely against everything we've been told about her that she's suddenly sorry that Crowley(Fergus) is dead. What about that boy Crowley brought to her to kill and told us that HE was the only boy she had ever loved?
I loved seeing Billie as Death. She was awesome. She just about makes up for the Death that Dean killed off. So she tells us Rowena will always be killed by Sam and tells Dean she will see him again soon. That's not scary!!
The only thing I'm not enjoying about SPN, the later years, is Kripke had a better handle on showing (or NOT showing) Heaven and Hell. Sure we saw Dean hanging from hooks and ropes the first time he died, but that was it. Hell was left to ou imaginations as was Heaven. All we were the angels wings appearing only occasionally. Now they've turn both Heaven and Hell into office spaces. Heaven is an all white uncomfortable looking Ikea office and Hell is a Pottery Barn dungeon. Also, the church was treated with some respect. Now, every time we see a priest, reverend or nun, they're stupid tools. Something to be laughed at, not revered.
Ok, good, I got that off my chest. Still looking forward to each episode in hopes it will delight me.

In TV Land, even the worst of the worst can have a redemption arc and this seems to be Rowena's. She has never wanted the world to end so I am not surprised she will help fight. Plus, I think she has a soft spot in her heart for Sam. Rowena was an awful mother, but in spite of that, Crowley really wanted her respect and approval. If they are reunited, perhaps they can mend that relationship. Then Rowena's arc will be finished and she can die.
I enjoyed the episode and I too enjoyed Rowena's comments about them. But the funniest comment was the one the reaper made about the many hair products that Sam has. I always laugh when they comment about Sam's hair. I think the reaper made Dean blush. Billie was really cool when Rowena tossed the spell at her. Rowena is not all powerful.
What happened to all of the angels? Did they finally kill each other? I did not realize the battles had depleted their ranks to so few. When the lights kept dimming, I thought Lucifer was doing something to cause that. But SoCal, they were not even interested in talking about Lucifer. They said Gabriel's power would help, but I wondered why they did not say the combination of Gabriel and Lucifer's power.
