Time to put them in order!

The web site is supposed to be in order by night, not ratings. Each night is further divided into networks. This week, it is in order by viewers 25-54. This really drives home how truly unpopular some shows are with people young enough to matter to advertisers. Some of the shows that are near the top are way, way down the list, meaning their viewers are ancient.

However, the age of viewers is of little help to CW shows. The shows that are last really are last. There's a lot of green on the last page.

"Roseanne" has been falling off its cozy ledge in recent weeks, but it's closer to that number one spot this week. The season finale will be in next week's ratings, so we'll see.

Some of you may have noticed I'm a day early. I have the day off tomorrow! A long weekend. So I get to goof off today too.

"Life Sentence" actually went up slightly. Maybe it was the interest in the royal wedding. There was a better lead-in.

The logic of what shows got renewed completely escapes me, though. How does "Dynasty" get another season and "Kevin Can Wait" doesn't? At first, it seemed that once the genius nerds stopped propping Kevin up (not easy when you're nerds and he's huge), he was falling down, but that hasn't really been the case. Monday night seemed to be doing well, except for that 9:30 slot which was never a success, and then "Scorpion" needed to call in Scorpion to save them from The Good Doctor and it didn't work.
