I liked the episode even though the subject was too serious to incorporate much humor. However, it did end on a playful scene and I enjoyed that.

This show was good on the day before yesterday and according to this page here, there was an increase in how many people tuned in compared to last week's show! God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. I loved the end when Eddie started calling Sam, "Dork".

So I found the episode--or part of one--on my DVR. I can sort of understand starting late, but early? I went ahead and watched anyway even though I was lost.
Sam's assistant pronounced the show garbage and said that wasn't an opinion. It was fact. I've had to do that with Disney Channel and Nickelodeon comedies myself. I can't be spending the kind of money it takes to watch those channels when I don't have time for broadcast TV.
And yet when I was the right age for shows like that, I enjoyed them a lot. I'd have liked the one Sam was in as a child. But it makes no sense to me there were so many fans for a show that essentially lasted one year. The second season doesn't count because it was too different.
Sam was so cute back then. I just wonder if she needs glasses. We've never seen that she wears contacts or that she can't see when she first gets out of bed. Now that I think of it, people can have surgery and not need glasses, and she certainly has the money.
Someone said the important thing is she looks good. She sure does.
It was nice seeing her reunited with everyone. Well, almost everyone. What a shame they didn't want to include her in a reboot.

It more Drama base kind of show, they just throw in a few lines of comedy to make the people happy.

That good that you still like watching it, ABC summer don't have comedy shows on only dramas. I also watch a lot of dramas during Sep-May.

I enjoyed Shadows of the Past. The case was interesting and Sam and Eddie were invited to work in conjunction with the police. One cop was hostile toward Eddie and rude to Sam, but later the cop had to admit they did a good job on the case.
Sam and Eddie have a good relationship and each week, they show the respect they have for each other. Eddie no longer bothers to tell Sam to stay in the car but he told her to stay behind him. He still wants to protect her.
I think we will see the killer again because he was very confident that he will get out of jail. ***
The next episode is in two weeks, on August 30.
