It more Drama base kind of show, they just throw in a few lines of comedy to make the people happy. That's not what we were promised. This has been described as a comedy. Even "iZombie" is not shown on my DVR as a comedy, yet this is. Though "iZombie' hasn't been all that funny lately. Next week there's another football game. And you know what? I don't care that this show isn't on tonight, or that I might lose part of it next week. Or whether it comes back for a second season. The show hasn't lived up to what we were told it would be.

Sadly this show is not going to be on tonight because of sports.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. The last episode was really good although I felt for the lady who was in the hospital bed. At the end of the episode, she had absolutely no one.

Our local game will be shown on NBC and will not interfere with the airing of "Take Two". Good for me.

The two new episodes will air tomorrow morning because of NFL Football. That happened to me. I haven't had time to even check to see if they recorded or if they started at the right time. The good news is that if the first one started early the second one will start during what recorded and if it started late, the first one will end during what is supposed to be the second one.

First, I must acknowledge the nod to X Files – “Muller and Scully” and “The truth is out there.” I loved “The X Files” and I was entertained by both Sam’s and Eddie’s reactions to the alien abduction theory.
Eddie trusts Sam enough to let her see he was also concerned that the alien abduction theory might be credible.
I thought the entire episode was cute and I was glad the doctor was eliminating people’s illnesses.

Family Ties
Oh, my goodness, I laughed so hard at Sam’s ideas of a joke. She sent a Strip-O-Gram to an auditorium where her sister was defending her thesis. Sam was sober then and her sister was not amused. When she was getting high, she sent her sister a monkey – a live monkey! Eddie was diplomatic and kind in response to those revelations.
Det. Chris Rollins was very concerned about her brother even though he had gotten in trouble many times. When the male detective joined Chris at the site of the murders, he said “Looks like someone stole John Wick’s car.” I was thrilled to hear that comment because it is really nice to know exactly what the references mean. Also, I have watched “John Wick” so many times, I stopped keeping count after five viewings.
Eddie and Sam were excellent during their investigation. I like the calm manner in which they approach suspects. Otherwise, the drama could escalate very quickly.
I was surprised when Chris' brother knew where the drugs were hidden and he fooled me. That was pretty convincing.

Sam was already pregnant by the time my recording started. And someone had the nerve to decide the episode was only going to be 53 minutes. Well, genius, if you knew it was going to end after 53 minutes, why didn't you tell my DVR to start recording 7 minutes earlier?

The only thing cute about the episode was Sam. If she wasn't so good-looking I might have given up on this mess a long time ago.

That was pretty convincing. I would have liked to see the monkey joke but I guess my ABC station cared more about football. I wonder if Sam's sister looks as good as ... oh, wait, she's smart and sensible. Maybe not. Chris has a brother? Okay, my first thought was it was the woman in the apartment whose brother was missing. I was lost the entire episode.

It Takes a Thief
Eddie was not at all comfortable with Sam being interested in a man she had a date with and Sam was not comfortable with a woman showing interest in Eddie. I thought all of that was cute, but I was surprised at the end scene.
I like it when a smug, snarky villain loses in the end.

Finally, a good episode. That woman who liked both Eddie and Sam was good. She commented on Sam;s eyes. Sam has great everything.
Sam also looked good in that first dress. I didn't think she needed to change for the event, but wow.
When that museum guy showed up I thought he was the man she was dating, but then I realized why would someone like him be able to date her? He looks like me!
Actually, glasses aren't necessarily a bad thing. Sam was wearing them and she looked great. I tried to see if they were prescription. It's amazing how many actors actually do need glasses but rarely wear them in roles. When their characters do need glasses, then they get to be prescription.
That was amazing how they solved the case.
I like paintings like that. Shapes and colors. I also like paintings that are like photographs, as many of them had to be back in the day.
