I finally decided to ask on one of the other web sites I go to why this didn't record. A bunch of people had the same problem. And yet the show's title has returned to what it was and they are recording with the old title. Meaning I didn't have to do anything. Tomorrow, if I can't find "Gotham", I'll watch. yes, tomorrow. I saw a forecast. Wednesday will be bad but tomorrow will be worse.

I guess I could have watched two of the episodes last night. I didn't think about it because I was watching the game shows. What I forgot was that I saved two episodes until I had finished watching the others online. So they were already ready to watch before the game shows. Then "Match Game" ended up being a rerun.
The first two, when I saw them online, were insanely hilarious. I don't even know where to begin. The cop is so incredibly stupid he shouldn't be allowed on the streets. I mean as a person.
The judge reminds me of someone but I don't know who. I know Larry's brothers were able to communicate without saying a word on "Newhart" but I'm thinking of someone who spoke a language no one could understand. Like Cousin Itt from "The Addams Family".
Since she was naked, I thought the prosecutor must really have been pregnant but given where the black bars were that still could have been easily faked.
Lavinia is literally getting away with murder, even if she didn't do it. Reminds me of a certain world leader.

The show was preempted by a Ravens' game. The same thing will happen next week. I need to research how this will affect viewing.

This won't be on again?
Now what happened last week was the Hall of Fame game. That's not local.
I am officially caught up. It didn't seem quite as funny, but there were new gags that were hilarious.
Anne's problem with faces is a real thing. I have that problem. But not like she does.
I don't understand why Anne's ability to understand the judge Is helpful. It seems everyone in town can understand him. At least now wee know what causes his problem.
Anne was on "To Tell the Truth".

He did not even try to help the camera person. We frequently forget they are there. There would have to be a lot of them for so many angles. One crew is shown in the courtroom.

I am very disappointed by that news because I enjoy this show so much.
Second week in a row that it did not air in my area.

It didn't air anywhere last week. I was relieved to find "Match Game" and "The Gong Show" did record. Well, at least something recorded. Whether the timing was right I don't know. I saw this week's TV listings yesterday and hoped the game was everywhere, but apparently it wasn't.

Good to know. I thought I needed to catch up on two weeks of episodes. I recorded the August 9th episodes from On Demand. The downside is I cannot fast forward through the commercials.
S2 E5 A Change in the Team
Lavinia’s slapping gloves are funny.
Poor Dwayne …it’s a wonder he has not said many more things damaging to the case. He was heartbroken and depressed when Josh fired him.
Drunk Lavinia was funny and I laughed that they edited certain words because what she was saying was so obvious.
Wayne is dangerous with a gun. My goodness, Wayne said they taught him at the academy to make it look like someone else shot first.
Lavinia has beautiful handwriting, but it respectfully presented evidence she was guilty.
Going to watch the next episode now.

New Case. Old Murder
The beginning during the presentation of the bronze pecker and combination to the city was not all that funny to me.
Lavinia is very good with a bow and arrow. I don’t blame her for hating Angela Lansbury, but she shot poor Wayne. I did laugh later when an arrow zipped past Josh’s head. Lavinia gets away with a lot of stuff.
Wayne’s lung inflating the balloon was a pretty neat trick.
Atticus needs to be brought down a bit. He is smug and full of himself.
Josh is a chick magnet.

I missed that about the academy.
The prosecutor is Urkel. He was Bobby Moynihan's best friend on "Me Myself & I".
I can't find it but I'll try again. Carol Anne is based on a real person who recently died. One of the colorful quotes from the real person will be used soon.
The show is still hilarious and sometimes just plain sick.

Thanks. I could not remember what the prosecutor played in. I like the actor but his character is obnoxious, in a humorous way.

I know this is a comedy, but the real lawyer was probably not flattered by the portrayal.

A Family Affair and Bad Instincts
I laughed all the way through the episodes. The flashbacks and one-liners in the introduction were great. Josh was referred to as the “briefly” popular lawyer. His peers were all millionaires while he was working his third unpaid case.
Everything Dwayne does is hilarious. Even after he cleaned up and tried to talk like the Pecks, his misuse of words was very funny.
Anne’s first (and last) day as a trial reporter was funny.
Carol Anne’s motorized bed was good for a few laughs.
I enjoy Lavinia’s abuse of power and outrageous behavior.
The only thing I did not enjoy was the naked man tackling Josh.

I can't even begin to describe how I felt about these episodes.
Poor Carol Anne being stuck in that bed. What if she had had to use the facilities? I noticed she could wear shoes again.
The writers gave Dwayne a lot of good lines. He doesn't know big words and is constantly messing up when he tries.
Josh was also naked.
I keep wondering how they have cameras when everything is supposed to be private. Everything is being filmed.
WPEK is a radio station in Asheville, NC called The Peak. It has been standards, classic country, progressive talk and sports talk.

Was he naked when he was tackled? I missed that because I was so shocked, I quickly turned my head each time it happened; except in the jailhouse, because that did not involve Josh.

Not when he was tackled, but when he was tackling. Unless I was having trouble understanding what was going on. Which is likely.

A Big Break
There were many things that made me laugh.
Carol Anne trying to keep the baby in her womb while in the courtroom.
Anne’s fake eyes.
Mickey Moose’s funeral: They had a state funeral for the moose and all prisoners were released on the honor system. There was a sign in a window that said “3-day moratorium on moose meat”. Another sign had in large letters “R.I.P. Mickey Moose” but in smaller letters, it had “Also Forge Clooney”. Lavinia sang the moose song for 16 minutes and people applauded.
The biggest laughs for me involved Dwayne. He told the tattoo artist to tattoo his initials on his arm so if he passed out, emergency personnel could identify him, but his initials read D.N.R.
Dwayne wanted to prove how Chet got the marks on his neck, so he followed directions for erotic asphyxiation. The warning across the screen said to not try that at home and that Dwayne is a moron!
I have to give an honorable mention for Tyler, Carol Anne’s intern. He said he was going to sue his college and that he was getting only one credit for the crap he had to do for Carol Anne.

Oh, wait. An episode has aired and I read newspapers last night. I'll see it tonight.
I do have this to say. In an episode of "Last Man on Earth" I saw this week, Fred Armisen was a serial killer. We saw how he ended up in prison and how eventually everyone died of the virus except him and one guard who just left. When he was arrested, he was in a lineup, and everyone was supposed to say the words Armisen's character had said. Armisen said them in a voice like the judge in Lavinia's case but the man still said, "That's him!"

Barcelona was pronounced correctly. If you live there, that's how you pronounce it. Someone attended my church who was from there and, strangely, pronounced it the way most people do.
Carol Anne sounded like James Earl Jones, they said, when she went into labor. I think she sounded like Vicki Lawrence (very good job, whoever did the voice) or possibly Brett Butler, the bartender on "Anger Management", who once had her own sitcom. She was a lot like Roseanne. So I didn't watch her.
Carol Anne's OB/GYN, like Vicki Lawrence, was on "Great News". He was the main character's boss. I want to know why he had a patient with a male name.
I'm sure I have lots more to say but I just can't think of it.
