That seemed like a season (or possibly series) finale. I'm glad things worked out well for everyone though we still haven't seen Joanna's baby born. I thought the event that took place was going to stop that from happening because Joanna doesn't seem to want a baby.
It appeared things were going to continue getting worse but just like that the doctor fell apart on the stand and then everything was suddenly all right.
Meanwhile, Taylor may have found her career.
Luna wasn't too happy that Mercer didn't get what was coming to him but that immunity deal was critical. Things worked out.

I found out this has another season and I'm looking forward to it.

An enjoyable first episode but why is the baby part of it?
Joanna has to deal with a lawyer she mentored. And once again, the town needs the jobs but not at the expense of those who will be hurt by it.
Taylor was not merely an informant. She was in uniform!
Luna had a chance to intern at a prestigious firm. That's not the sort of thing she wants. And didn't she just start college? How is she already in law school?
And how are people getting summer jobs when the leaves are turning?

At least I enjoy watching Joanna scheming to get what she wants. She's a good person.
Luna is doing good work but she's getting tempted by money.
Taylor is doing a good job. I guess.
The fall leaves continue to change as people dress warmly while law students prepare for summer internships.

I didn't see that one coming. Joanna is fortunate her fiance got Luna's new boss to be her lawyer because she's going to need a good one. Luna is very helpful.
Progress is being made in Taylor's case and the teenage boy has been taken out of the situation.
The grandfather isn't the ideal baby sitter.

Those leaves just keep turning and now they're falling off the trees. And Taylor and Luna can see their breath, and they're cold outside. Summer internships sure have to be lined up way in advance.
I sure never expected all this. They worked hard to get Joanna out of her jam and at least as far as The Crown is concerned, they have. The Bar Association is another matter and another obstacle.
Luna's face lit up when talked about her relationship.
I'm surprised the lawyer gave Joanna what she needed when she destroyed the town. Why would anyone help the person who did that get OUT of trouble?

Now we've met Luna's girlfriend. It appears they're still in school, not out for the summer. But we knew it was getting cold and people continue to dress for cold weather.
Things seemed to be going in Joanna's favor and then her nemesis has to come along and mess things up. But the discovery of the woman's daughter may change things.

Things are not getting better but the show is entertaining.
The client's daughter doesn't want to help. But the mining company may be responsible for the girls being forced to work.
And it keeps getting colder, though we have long since established it's not time for summer internships to start. But this place gets really cold in winter and I'm not looking forward to that.
What's in that letter Joanna doesn't want to read?

I hope that wasn't the end. That was a terrible way to end it.
Luna co-wrote the episode! Good job!
Joanna did what she wanted, but maybe not the way she wanted to. The people of the town won't like it. But it turns out it was the best thing for them.
As for the trafficking, well ... they can't blame the mine.
Poor Luna can't hold on to a girlfriend if she has other priorities.

This seems like it was the last one. I don't know if there will be another season but it ended well. Joanna did fight and she got a fair sentence. She had to face consequences for the past but she should be allowed to continue practicing because she has changed.
Taylor pulled over her father! And things were not pleasant afterward.
Luna is back with her girlfriend.
The mine is out of business and I'm guessing the people of the town aren't happy.
The police chief won't adopt the boy but he has helped the boy get away from his father, so that's something.
