The logo (or whatever they call it) was fantastic! I loved it. What do you want? (That’s the same thing Lucifer in “Lucifer” asks people before he scares them almost to death.) I expected Michael to immediately kill anyone who does not give him a satisfactory response, but he did not zap Sister Jo. I think Dean is a very cool Michael and I like it. The icy blue eyes are a little scary, but other than that, no complaints from me. Sam is not letting anything stand in the way of finding Dean (not even a dog) and he walked into a demons’ lair to rescue Castiel. Bravo! I was under impressed with the battle skills when Bobby and Mary came to the rescue. They were spraying bullets, but it seemed they missed all but two demons. They had the element of surprise and should have hit most of them. I was impressed/surprised that Mary had the upper body strength to arm wrestle a demon long enough for young Maggie to assist her. The demons are afraid of Sam’s shoulders and Beyonce’s hair so they left without a new king of hell. I am not going to express my feelings again about my Cas getting his butt whooped twice in the episode. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered about Jack’s status. He has an adorable little pout when he is sad or distressed. Nick is in the bunker! I recall our introduction to Nick very clearly and wonder if he is over his depression. What role will he play? He did not seem like he was being held in captivity. As usual, I will ignore the unbelievable, “the angel blade was designed to kill the angel and not the vessel”, theory. I watched it when it aired and enjoyed it. I have been in too much pain for the past week to feel like thinking or posting. I am taking antibiotics now and feeling a wee bit better. I am interested in reading everyone's reviews. Does anyone have a shot of the angel wings used in the logo?

Hello SPN fans first episode of the new season. First- Are you feeling better Anti? I hope you continue to get better and fight off whatever is going on. I like the title card, and I loved seeing how Jo saw Michael, I am now wondering if it is just because he is an archangel and if other angels are seen like that or to that extent. I did miss seeing "Dean" and will be glad when he is back. I thought Jensen did a really good job or being another character, he is good enough to pull it off. I kind of like Kip, oh well, off to the next one. it was funny to see how much shorter he was than Sam and yet he stood up to Sam and was not scared at all. Bobby and Mary have to be the worst shots ever, that was pitiful how out of a bar full of demons, they got 2. PIT I FulNor do I even want to think about a potential anything between them ( puts fingers in ears going la, la, la, la.) I know there are Booby fans out there who are glad he is back, but I am not one of them. I don't care for so many being at the bunker to me that is just for our Team Free Will people, not everyone they come across. I need to see someone hug Jack, NOW. poor baby. Not sure what to think about seeing Nick, which on my TV was spoiled when there was a 10 second clip of Sam talking to him during a commercial break(grumble) Like you Anti, I would like to forget what happened to our Cas, what in the hell has happened to Cas, he goes down at the first punch, he can't see a room full of demons, I mean WTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope he gets smarter and soon! I had problems with how slow it was, but I read somewhere that they are building up towards something this season so maybe instead of the season meandering a bit as in past seasons, we may get a more cohesive season. I did like the small moment between Cas and Sam and Jack and Cas, I would have liked to see more of that. I fully expected to see Sam take charge but I would expect to see Cas kind of as his second in command.

Hi Anti and Nov Glad to read your reviews of episode one. I thought it was pretty good. Like Nov said, a little slow, but I also had read that they were going to build up to something so, we'll see. I liked how Michael/Dean met Jo. His angelic appearance to her was great. As for his asking the question, "What do you want?" to each of the people he appears to, I wonder what this is leading up to. Will he plan to eliminate those whose answers he doesn't like and, like the vampire he seemed happy with, save those to participate in his plans? Also, I think I heard it said that the "arch-angel blade" was meant to kill the angel and not the host. That would make it different from the angel-blade. I agree with wondering why Cas couldn't see that he was surrounded by demons in the bar. Is he still not at 100% angel power? I never know. Kip was funny, but I don't really understand why he had to interact with Sam in order to become the King of Hell. The fight in the bar was so-so. The old Bobby surely could shoot better than that. And to spray the bar with machine gun fire could have hit many of his own people. I thought Jack fighting and getting beaten down was silly. Did anyone else notice that Micheal/Dean seemed to pronounce some words funny? I don't know why that would happen since Michael in Apocalypse land didn't have a problem speaking English. When will Michael/Dean get rid of the cap? I'm hoping the next episode will show us more of Michael/Dean since about all we saw of him was his asking his question over and over. Sam has really taken over the leadership role. And I don't like the bunker filled with so many people either.

Dean has progressed from messing up Latin to fluently speaking Arabic. I noticed where Kip focused his eyes when he said he thought Cas and Dean were joined at the…well, everything. Kip said the demons were afraid of legendary Sam. So, if Sam gave his blessing for Kip to be the King of Hell, the other demons would fall in line. When Cas charged the group of demons, he did not even nick one of them. Maybe he will do better after Bobby teaches him to fight. Jack’s grace will regenerate eventually, but that might not mean he will be the same, does it? If Jack’s grace will regenerate, why is Cas weak? He was always able to recognize demons before. And his bruises did not heal. I enjoyed the episode, but wanted to share some observations.

Hello all , nice to see everyone again. I liked seeing everyone thoughts and there are some good questions and thoughts. SoCal, supposedly Michael pronounces words very different than Dean s if he has all the time in the world( I read that) but I think maybe it is just an attempt by Jensen to create a difference between the two characters. Skylander- I like your point about Cas and Jack, about their grace and why Cas seems all over the map as far as powers go. Anti- Yes, Sam is definitely in charge !!
