The gorgon was acting like Hannibal Lecter and preparing gourmet meals with human organs. That was pretty good special effects when the man ate the eyeball and gained snake eyes so he could foresee the future. I am glad the kitchen scene was not too gory, considering what was happening there. The man said he was a lover, not a fighter, but he seemed like a good fighter to me. Jack saved the situation by decapitating the gorgon and he healed Castiel. Yay for Jack.
I enjoyed the scene where Cas and Dean discussed the Michael issue honestly. Dean admitted that the clanging never stopped, he could not afford to sleep and that something needed to be done about it. I do not think either Cas or Sam would ever be ready for the proposed Plan B.
Rowena used a transformation spell to turn Jack into a dog so they could steal anti-venom from a vet. Jack did not appreciate the way the vet took his temperature.
Poor Jack’s cough was very serious, but he was able to temporarily heal his throat. Castiel did not know about that, but he was very concerned every time Jack used his power. Jack was frustrated that Castiel refused to let him use more of his grace to help Dean. While Dean was unconscious, Michael escaped and used Rowena as his vessel. Michael had no honor and his intention was to renege on his promise to let the Winchester team live.
Jack’s battle with Michael was dramatic and I loved it. When Jack announced he was not a child and that he was a Winchester, I cheered. That was awesome. I am so glad the Jack is back.
I am pleased Rowena did not die. I was amused when earlier in the episode, Rowena said “Until recently, I was the villain.” I wanted Maggie and the others out of the bunker, but honestly, I did not want them to die like that.
There were a lot of things I enjoyed in this episode. It was well done.

I really, really liked this episode, I love seeing more of Jack and I liked seeing Rowena being more of the team.
I LOVED seeing Jack tell Michael, he was not a CHILD, he was a hunter and a Winchester, that was awesome! I love seeing Jack take down Michael, though it makes me worried for Jack, what will come from him killing Michael and taking in his grace, how will this affect him ( and us?) The was he thinks about cases is different from the others and he can sometimes find the solutions because he thinks differently. The addition of Jack has added a lot, I like seeing the three overprotective dads and how they worry and try to protect him when he clearly doesn't want it.
The interactions between Sam and Rowena are priceless, I like seeing them work together and they have a good chemistry that honestly we don't see with others and Sam. Yes, Sam gets along with others and it is no slight to Jared and his acting partners but he has a special chemistry with Rowena he doesn't have with anyone else.
I understand that the Gorgon was a demigod, but he made it look too easy just throwing these 2 big guys around like puppets. I think he has been on the show before but can't place him.
Dean's frustration and desperation and terror at Michael being gone was heartbreaking though not for long when he appeared and killed off all the AU hunters. I have not been a fan of them and was glad to see them go.
What I do worry about is what is going to happen to Jack now, it was great to see him get his full power (maybe) back, but what will the outcome of this be, and what is going to happen with Nick still out there?

Good episode with lots of action. The Gorgon was weird and I wasn't quite sure how ans why he caught his victims. Does he need to eat them? What was with the snake? That didn't make sense to me at all. Glad to see Jack back in action. As for Rowena, well, the Gorgon says she "cares" about the people in the bunker, but I don't know. If it came between them and her, she would always choose herself. Fun to see Sam pouring over his books again. Sad to see Cas and Dean going over the "casket, ocean, done," scenario. And poor Jack in the bathroom coughing up blood again and using more of his grace to heal himself. That can't be good. The fight with the Gorgon was a little anticlimactic, but woo-hoo to Jack for getting the advantage and chopping off its head. Poor Dean and Sam have had their heads knocked around so much it's a wonder they aren't both brain damaged. Speaking of brain damaged, Dean's thrashing about clearly meant that Michael was taking advantage of his weakened state to continue to try getting out. Dean's face was so sad and defeated when he told Sam, "He's gone." So Rowena is now Michael.. Meh.. I'm not a big Rowena fan. Sorry that Michael killed everyone in the bunker, but I'm not sad that they're gone. they were a distraction. So Jack defeats Michael? Again, a little anticlimactic. There should have been more to Michael being defeated and destroyed. I wondered about Jack taking in what was left of Michael's grace. Is it tainted? Is Jack now tainted? I guess we'll find out.
