It was a nice not-too-scary monster of the week episode. I still do not know what the father and daughter are, but they could use mind control and had the power to kill people from a distance. No, it was not the milkshakes that turned people into throwbacks to the 1950s. Dean took Jack to see Donatello so he could gauge the status of Jack’s soul. Maybe it’s just my perception, but I do not think Donny’s conclusion was at all helpful. I enjoyed Dean's reaction to the snake. It shows Dean has really changed and is making an effort to make Jack feel comfortable. The old Dean would have told Jack that snake was not going to ride in the car. Dean's relief when Jack chose the angel food snack was funny. I wonder what Cas thinks of Jack’s WWWD solution for the snake’s sadness.

Hi!, So it's 3 in a row that I really liked, sure this one was a little odd and different and a little campy and silly, but I thought it was really good. I liked seeing Cas and Sam/Justin Sam and his "wife" so silly and yet hilarious " oh you, oh you, Cas OH NO!. Sam kept saying his name was Justin and golly. Jared doesn't get to do comedy often but he is good at it. Cas trying not to hurt Sam/Justin ( I read when Jared tackled Misha there was about 20 minutes of inappropriate comments going on) They make a good team, though we don't often see them together. Dean and his fear of snakes, and apparently white mice. I like how he kind of tried with Jack, though I am not sure he tried as hard as he could, he seemed a little like he was good, when he shouldn't be, we finally saw Sam reacting to what happened but not so much of Dean now that Michael is gone. ( or is he?) I still don't know what to think about Jack, I think there is something more going on and I felt it was a little odd with what he did at the end and yet it seemed kind of Cas like, it was a very literal thing to do, something Cas might have done years ago.
