I was happy with most of this one, even if Mary is gone, I am ok with that too. If they had shown Mary to be more caring as they tried to show us in this episode, I would have liked her more, it would have been nice to show us her of her motherly side, like last season or the season before. It was too little too late for me, but I know others liked Mary so I won't say anything else about her. I think Jack has some of his soul left because otherwise he wouldn't be trying so hard to have gotten Mary back. I am wondering if he could kill Mary with a thought, why couldn't he think her back? ( was anyone else thinking of Buffy when Dawn tried to bring their mom back from the dead). If he didn't have a soul, we wouldn't have seen him try so desperately to bring Mary back, I liked seeing him go to Rowena and I was worried for her, so I am glad she didn't die. Her trying to talk to Jack to calm him down and think rationally about what he was doing wasn't working, but I don't think she was trying to stall him, like he thought. I like Jack and what he brings to the show, but I am not liking this dark turn they seem to be trying to shove at us. I just hope if they do this that we can see his redemption, the way we have seen it for Sam Dean and Cas. I believe he makes the guys be a little better, I won't say softer but in a way it opens them up more and do things they wouldn't normally do, like Dean going fishing and the game night they were so close to having. So Dean is hurt and mad at Cas? it is to be expected, he becomes super mad and hurt at those he is closest to, and then they work themselves back into his good side and all is forgiven until next time. He has done that with Sam, and Cas and even Mary, and I guess if you think about it, even Crowley in a way. Once we see Sam take on some of that responsibility and even Dean says it, I know he will be ok with Cas soon. Not sure what to think about the last 2 episodes.

^^^ I feel the same way.
When subconscious Nick said if Mary was brought back, it wouldn't really be her, I thought he meant she might be evil. I prefer to know she is in heaven with John and is happy. That was a better way to end her arc. Eventually, Dean will accept that. I do not really care if Bobby accepts it or not. Mary belonged to John anyway.
Dean was really angry when he said harsh words to Cas and Cas looked sad, but time should heal the hurt.
I am very concerned about Jack. Normally, we would send him to a psychiatrist, but no doctor would believe him so that will not work. I hope his mental issues are emotional and will pass. Otherwise, Jack could go off the deep end and create chaos.
