I saw a great commercial for this show. I thought I was seeing it at the end of "Batwoman" but it wasn't quite the same because Lex wasn't in it.

What Alex was experiencing seemed like what I am experiencing now. I'm in this virtual reality simulation with no way to get out and no way to know how long it will last. The beginning of the episode was really unpleasant. There was a time when I thought that's what "This Is Us" was going to be like. I'm happy to say it isn't. And the episode ended up being a lot more entertaining. I liked seeing J'onn back in charge. And Brainiac with his "normal" personality. I had forgotten what an evil villain Hank was. And how does anyone explain Hank if they are new to the series and don't remember him? I did not like the first guitar player. I liked the one playing for Lincoln but would have preferred a better vocalist. Actually, those recordings sounded like the actual recordings from the hit songs but without the vocals. Alex needed that experience to get over her feelings about her father. I was disappointed Dean didn't actually appear. I was relieved Alex finally was willing to do what she had to. Kelly did her best. I wondered if it would be enough. I agree. I do not know who Dean is. I cannot think of anything to add.

I do not know who Dean is. Dean Cain, Superman on "Lois and Clark", was Kara and Alex's father. I remembered when making sure I was right that someone spelled it "Danver" on what appeared to be an official document. Not a good error to make. These DEO people are supposed to be smart.

I enjoyed that. We got to see exactly what was going on during all those weeks after Crisis. The death of that older woman should have been shown, though.
Superman was shown at the beginning, and I saw him over the weekend in a movie about a baseball team made up of a bunch of losers that has to go up against pro players. He was the pitcher and fell apart toward the end, but then he was persuaded to do his best and win the game.
Lex is too much like Donald Trump.
It's very confusing that some people can remember what was true before crisis and some can't. Lillian (who looked great, by the way) doesn't remember and has to depend on Lex to tell her.
When Alex and the others were grieving Jeremiah, it hit me that I needed to go back and see who Tessmacher was ordered to kill (and now we know Lex just did it to be mean, not because her father was killed by him). I didn't recognize him the first time, but yeah, Dean Cain does look like that now.

It was an excellent summary of what Lex had been doing after the crisis. He was always the cleverest deviant of the villains. He was unnecessarily cruel to Miss Tessmacher and his comments made we wonder if we have ever seen Lex in a real romantic relationship. I was stunned when he said he had Supergirl’s father killed.
Now that Lex has what he wants, the battle can truly begin.

Leviathan Rama Khan won the battle at the DEO and escaped with kryptonite rods. He also caused destruction of the not-very-secret DEO.
Dreamer is invincible and she gave Brainy an ultimatum.
Lena’s dream to fix humanity was destroyed. Lex lost his temper with Lena when she expressed discuss with his schemes. Lex was successful in securing an invite to the Leviathan ship.
Lena explained to Supergirl that Lex was going to use the Obsidian to help Leviathan.
The finale is next week so they will have to solve all of those situations.

Where did Rama Khan get kryptonite? What am I missing?
I knew they showed a skyscraper as the exterior of the DEO building. So when things started falling apart I got really worried. And I was right. That was quite an event to watch, but it was so terrible.
I've never seen Lex so angry. That was Charlie Sheen's idiot brother? Charlie should see him now. He might actually respect him.
Lena may finally be coming over to our side.
Everyone seems to realize that Lex, like Donald Trump, is not the perfect person so many people think he is. Now they just have to prove it.
I don't know why it was funny watching the prisoners, especially when Lex mysteriously popped in. He seems to have picked up one of Cisco's gadgets.

Lex knew the DEO was storing kryptonite in case some Kryptonians attacked. He told the Leviathan and Rama Khan let himself be captured so he could steal it. I think that was the kryptonite Lena created in one of her labs. I also enjoyed watching the prisoners when Lex was corralling them.

× Supergirl
Immortal Kombat
SEASON 5, EPISODE 19 • FINALE 10/17/2020, 9:00 PM ON WNUVDT 54 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC

Immortal Kombat was action intensive. All of our heroes played important roles to distract and defeat Leviathan. Brainiac-5 made the greatest sacrifice, but it will be in vain if Lex's plan is successful. I wonder if Dreamer can get to Brainy and help him.
I loved it when Supergirl's super powerful clap turned Leviathan to ash. That is so awesome. But it was followed by the realization that they are immortal.
I do not understand why Lex talks about destroying the world being part of his plan.
Tbh, I was not moved by Supergirl's "turn off the VR" speech.
*** I am a Mortal Kombat fan, so I enjoyed the title of the episode giving a nod to the game.

I don't know anything about Immortal Kombat. I still enjoyed the episode.
I missed the clap. I know they disappeared but then we heard the comment they were back.
It was hard to watch Brainiac 5 go through all he had to, but I was glad he wanted to help his friends no matter what.
Lex is always entertaining but where is he going to live if he destroys the world?
Tess is normal again. That was nice. And she spent time with her mom.
Supergirl was slow to forgive Lena but it eventually happened.
Alex looks more like she did on "That 80s Show". All she needed was the hair.
Something I hadn't thought about before. Every time I fast-forward or go back or freeze, there is kryptonite on the screen.

I missed the clap. I know they disappeared but then we heard the comment they were back. I have seen it only twice, and you missed the clap both times. How do you miss it in the midst of a battle? Coincidence? Magic? It said, "To be continued". I thought that was the season finale. It was the season finale - unplanned finale. Will have to continue on some mysterious date.
