A commercial I keep seeing has the actor who plays Lex telling his idiot son his grandmother will send him to college. The son asks if he can finish his breakfast first. After plenty of evidence is shown in clips that the boy is a moron, his uncle played by Charlie Sheen says maybe some children should be left behind.
That was a good episode.
I hate that Alex has quit but that puts Brainiac in charge and with the current situation that's not a good thing.
In one scene Brainiac spoke the way he did before he got his personality back. That sophisticated way he used to talk.
So Toyman is Max Headroom. Only Max didn't have the Internet, as far as I know. Wow, he could have really annoyed people.
We are reminded again this is a new world. Supergirl was protected from kryptonite, until ...
I've lost track of what Lena was doing.
And the evil older woman had another meeting. She's really in charge, not Lex. How did she not get affected by the destruction of everything?
I don't tbink Kara and William should date. It just seems weird.
Kara is so pretty without the glasses or Supergirl costume.

I enjoyed all of the episode, but my favorite scene was Supergirl's hand clap that destroyed the mechanical enemies. Nice special effects.
I did not expect there to be a resolution to Winn's trouble with his father, and I am glad the outcome was positive. Winn aka Computer Lad aka Toy Master is a nice guy and deserves to be happy.
Lena sabotaged her friend's program so that she would need assistance. Lena does unscrupulous things and insists it is for the good of the people. But Lex is honest about having selfish motives.
I like Alex, but the good thing about her leaving is I will not have to endure her relationships.
I have faith in Brainy and trust him to thwart Lex at some point. I enjoyed Brainy's evasive footwork when he was being targeted.
William is probably very confused about Kara.

KyleEl I am sorry you missed the hand clap because I know you like good special effects too. Yes, Rosenbaum was like that but he was supposed to become a villain, unless I misunderstood. Oh, wishful thinking on my part...I guess Alex will still be around...but no kissing, please! I unintentionally gave Winn the name Toy Master in a previous post, but I know it is Toyman.

That was a very good episode. I always like it when TV series try to do "It's a Wonderful Life". Plus Mxyzptlk was really funny. Some of you may recognize Getz on "Lethal Weapon" (who was Joe Pesci in the movies).
It was a shame to see most of the options would have made things worse. No, wait, ALL of the options. And some would have made things much worse.
Whoever does Melissa's hair wasn't trying very hard to get it right, or maybe that was a side effect of Mxyzptlk's powers. But Melissa's hair looked so good when Mxyzptlk first showed up.
What I want to know is how did he even have the ability to change the past when everything was rebooted in Crisis. That would complicate things greatly.
It was great when he lost his powers in the last version. If he needed to contact the Fifth Dimension, they should have found a way to get Marilyn McCoo to appear in the episode.

I think the floating light was Mr. Mxyzptlk hovering outside the window at the end. Hopefully, that means we will see more of him. I never thought Joe Pesci was cute, but Mr. Mxyzptlk was cute and delightful.
Lena was at a loss for words after Supergirl told her she was responsible for her own bad decisions. But I do not think threatening Lena (or any Luthor) was a good idea.
Mr. Mxyzptlk said the same thing about Mon-El that some fans say - he never understood what Kara saw in Mon-El. Ouch!

I never thought Joe Pesci was cute, but Mr. Mxyzptlk was cute and delightful. You mean Getz, right? I was going into way too much detail for someone who might only know the movies. |
