The minute Riley saw that code, I suspected she was going to say she wrote it.
The sweet innocent girl was the villain?
They sure know how to keep you on edge until the last minute. And they couldn't save everyone. It was either him or millions.
Mac has no family, but he has a family.

I watched this when it aired, and I enjoyed it. Mac's skills were very useful in creating an alternate cooling system. After learning about decisions his family made, Mac is no longer trusting people. He was certain his aunt was behind the hack and sabotage of the plant. He also thought the engineer was the inside man sabotaging the plant. He was right about the aunt but wrong about the man. Making the decision to push the button that would suck the oxygen from the room was a pivotal moment in Mac's development. I compared that moment to the time Oversight had to make a decision to save Mac and let someone else die.
The story Mac told about his father is my favorite one. After Mac took the engine apart in his father's vehicle, his father made him reassemble it. That took seven weeks and his father rode the bus to work. His father could have reassembled the engine in one day. I was impressed with both Oversight and Mac in that scenario.

Yeah, that was a good story.
The pastor whose service I saw on TV on Easter Sunday talked about the missing verses of Mark. It's weird that in the "original" version Mark does not say anyone met Jesus after he rose. That's missing a big part of the story. I looked this up and the various earlier manuscripts are referred to as Codex, followed by other words for each one.
Codex is also a horse that won the Preakness. I don't know how I remember that.

in "Man of Steel", Zod was trying to retrieve the Codex which held the gene markers of every Kryptonian.
*** The team followed the clue Oversight left, but the downside to that is it led their adversary to an invention that could be used as a weapon.
I wonder if the fans who are into science were excited that famous scientists took part in the episode. I liked seeing Mac talk with his mother. However, I think the combination of Mac's aunt planting the seed in his mind that he is like the mother and aunt, and his subconscious reinforcing that thought is leading to a psychotic break.
During the first season, we noted Mac seemed expressionless. I am interested in seeing him cross to the dark side.
Also, although I never expected Mac to have a romantic relationship, I am enjoying his playfulness with Desi because it seems so natural.

I forgot to say last week that Mac's shirt and Riley's hair were the same color.
I liked seeing Mac's mother too. I suspected there was some significance to that woman when I first saw her. I did like seeing those scientists. The same thing happened to Sheldon last week, except those scientists were on his wall.
That was a nice house to have been abandoned for so long.
I have no desire to see Mac go to the dark side or have a psychotic break.
I don't like seeing Mac and Desi together, period.
There was no nuclear weapon in 1922, so I don't know what was supposed to be taking place.
"Indebted" is a sitcom about a Jewish family. This week they had a shiva for a relative who died. Actually, two, because the younger woman refused to do it the traditional way, so the ones who like tradition attended the one in the basement. That's different from the Shiva in this episode.

Psy-Op + Cell + Merchant + Birds
SEASON 4, EPISODE 11 • NEW 4/24/2020, 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC

That was exciting. It does seem to me that Mac is debating the merits of the Codex world view, but not to the extent of reducing the population by killing people. Even though the Merchant is working with Codex, he does not think their plan is rational and his discussions with Mac were interesting. After Mac went to Phoenix in the night, Russ was wise to be worried about him.
When Codex attacked them, it looked as if Desi was losing the fight with the lady, then they cut to another scene. I thought the attack was real, but Phoenix was able to trap the Codex team. But it is still not clear to me if the lady Desi was fighting is part of Codex.
Bozer looked at Riley as if she might be upset that Mac and Desi are together. But I do not recall her showing an interest in Mac, so that was a little confusing. Unless he was just referring to her losing her boyfriend.

I thought it was be a terrible episode but as I saw how they put that prison together, that was really neat. And Bozer gets to play an important role for a change.
Normally I would like seeing a girl as pretty as Desi in the shower, especially with a man, but those tattoos and it's Desi and Mac.
It looked last week as if Riley was interested in Mac.
I had trouble following what the Merchant was talking about. Between Mac having to fake being on his side and all the doomsday talk which in today's world seems all too real, it was too much for me to enjoy.

A commercial last night advertised a new episode. Mac was landing a plane on top of a truck. We've seen that!
Commercials these days don't tend to tell us what is happening in the upcoming episode.

This past Friday was the first time that I knew in advance that "MacGyver", "Dynasty" and "Magnum" would all be on. Given that I have enjoyed the last several "Magnum" episodes a lot and this show is going downhill, I had to give priority to what I would enjoy more. I thought I would find time over the weekend but the current situation means I spend a lot more time on the computer than I usually do. Details are somewhere on the Tanmi thread.
Did they go to Moldavia? They went there on "Dynasty" too. Blake and Anders were in a jam it seemed only Team Phoenix could get them out of. I mention this because Moldavia is no longer the country's name and two shows are using the old name.

I won't be watching again this week. I haven't had the time yet to watch last week's, and given how I feel about the show, I won't have time for a while.
Even if "Dynasty" isn't on (I haven't checked) there are two "Magnum" episodes and those will get priority.

I'm now two episodes behind but the two "Magnum" episodes were great.
Since the first one didn't start until 9, I guess I could have watched this.

Loyalty + Family + Rogue + Hellfire was exciting. Mac was not faking when he decided to join his aunt, but his motive was good. We know Mac is a good man so I never thought he would agree to killing a percentage of the population for any reason. Riley had more faith in Mac than anyone else so she was willing to help him.

Save + The + Dam + World was a revealing episode. We saw Codex had a way to protect their people when they blow up the world. They had an underground city that was impressive. They were happy to get their hands on Tesla's invention so they could use it to generate unlimited power for their city.
During discussion with the leader of Codex, Mac learned Russ had been recruited by Codex, but turned them down. Russ' goal to destroy Codex was the reason he bought Phoenix. He knew the team was smart enough to challenge Codex. Phoenix both hindered and assisted Mac and Riley in their attempt to thwart Codex's plan to detonate a nuclear bomb. The one thing I did not like was having Mac's aunt sacrifice herself in the same manner as his father. I do not know if that was supposed to be poetic or was just lazy writing.
The team reunited and have an understanding of each other's point of view, but I think some of the tension will carry over into the next season.
I liked the end scene with Mac testifying about the effects of climate change.

I will be three weeks behind tonight. There is a videos special hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. Then I have last week's "Dynasty". I still want to read newspapers. It won't be on this week because of a Masters of Illusion special. I don't watch that show because I want to know how the tricks are done. When Penn & Teller explain how a trick was done, we don't understand but at least I feel like I got some idea.

Correction. The show never aired. Was the season finale on already? I just assumed since it started late this show would last longer.

I was just about to give up on Mac. Everyone else had. I did not like the way things were going. Then it became clear Mac's motives were good and I just hoped The Phoenix Foundation wouldn't be too hard on him. Mattie said Calvary. I was so relieved when Riley joined them and things seemed back to normal. It was actually pretty entertaining. And however it happened, Mac was able to prevent a disaster. I didn't recognize Mac's aunt but I saw her name this time in the credits. I never watched the "Star Trek" series with Seven of Nine, but I did watch "Body of Proof" and she was pretty hot there. Dana Delany was the star, and Jeri was her boss. They were doctors investigating murders, and during later episodes the detectives were one of the lawyers who co-starred with James Spader on "Boston Legal" and Walter from "Scorpion".

I enjoyed the episode more because it was clear where Mac's loyalty was. And there were exciting car chases and clearly impossible stunts. I especially liked the scene where Mac's mom was about to give birth. I never expected to find out he was born next to an Angus Beef billboard. I thought that name was related to his Scottish heritage. Kobe Bryant is also named after beef. Mac's aunt didn't look a day older in the present. She's still gorgeous. "This is Us", but in reverse. And I liked Mac testifying. I can't imagine he liked wearing a suit.

Confirmed. I saw episode 2 from this season. I was right to delete it.
Most of my recordings are two hours and only identify the first hour. I should have never recorded them that way. Recording each hour manually was enough to make sure I had the first two since I don't know how to start a season pass until I've recorded an episode.
The only way to leave for the mountains and have so many recordings I can't stop from happening is to delete everything. Matty is being interrogated in one second hour and there's some goon in a store. But nothing here says I didn't see anything from the season.
A Jack episode also has to go. Surely I saw it because there's no other mention of something I didn't see.
Edit: Surely I saw every episode from a second hour. I did, after all, record the second hour separately and see what it was about. Unless I concluded that since I had the second hour on another recording, I could watch it there. Which would have been a bad idea.
