Eta: Episode jumped three months.
I like Zeke but it seems time will run out before he gets better.
Michaela and Jared worked a case together and they are being nice to each other. I am glad they can be honest with each other now. Michaela finally chose to ignore a calling which told her to let a criminal go. I am waiting to see the consequences.
Cal told his father he no longer sees the shadow monsters, but as soon as his father left his bedroom, the shadows appeared. Weird mystery.

"Manifest", "The Good Doctor" and "New Amsterdam" have recently had encounters between death bed/sick fathers and their sons. "Manifest" is the only one that had a positive reunion.

I never saw this show jump ahead before except in the first episode. But certain things were said that made it obvious.
Someone doesn't like what Saanvi is doing. Her research could be critical. And yet they just took her away.
So now we know why the bus driver wasn't helping.
Poor Michaela. She doesn't know which person to help. If she guesses wrong things get worse. But we know things wouldn't have turned out as they did if she didn't listen the first time.
Saving the man from the subway was pretty dramatic. Everything had to happen just right.

I did not learn anything significant or different about the callings. The callings helped Michaela make up her mind about marrying Zeke.
Ben helping the airplane inspector seems to be a one and done.
The meth dealer scenario seems to have come out of left field because they are late to the party. The leader does not seem like he could be involved in running the callings nor was he on the flight. He seems like a thug. The likely connection is they were always the shadows in Cal’s drawing.
I cannot guess why Ben keeps seeing the airplane blow up.
i did enjoy the episode.

Michaela was so cute!
I don't see how an airplane inspector could have prevented this. He has nothing to feel guilty about.
Saanvi is trying to get help.
I hope Zeke's mother changes her mind about being at the wedding.
And that's as far as I got. To see it all would have meant staying up until midnight. I've lost enough sleep lately.

Saanvi finally found Vance. His wife won't admit he's alive.
It was nice to see Zeke's parents at the wedding.

Icing Conditions
SEASON 2, EPISODE 13 • FINALE 10:01 PM ON WBALDT 11 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC
Michaela and Ben put everything on the line to attempt a daring rescue; as the final hours of Zeke's life approach, Saanvi and Vance make a last-ditch effort to appeal to the Major, who may be the only person who can save him from his death date

The finale is my favorite episode of the season. The meth dealer told Michaela to bring their meth or they would kill Cal. She tried to sign out the meth from the evidence room, but the officer would not release it to her. Jared had to sign for it and that got him involved. It became exciting when they tried to make the exchange and a woman challenged Michaela about leaving the bag unattended. Everything went wrong with the exchange after that and the leader of the gang thought they had been double-crossed.
Zeke was painfully and slowly turning into a human ice cube, but he was able to reveal his callings were clues to where Cal was being held captive. The scenes with Cal in the cabin and on the lake were very exciting. I was convinced Zeke was gone until a light embraced the group and the ice melted from Zeke’s body. His beautiful eyes opened and all was right with the world. (Except for Jared who again lost a chance to be with Michaela.)
Dr. Saanvi was persistent in her attempts to get information from the Major. She poisoned the Major and offered her the antidote in exchange for information on a cure to save Zeke. With her dying breath, the Major revealed they were not making a cure; they wanted to weaponize the gene. During a struggle, the antidote syringe broke. Oops! Vance looked genuinely shocked when Saanvi said she killed the Major.
When a boat stalled and they were pulling something up, I thought it was going to be the three meth dealers, but it was a part of flight 828.
The lake was searched and the three meth dealers were not in the water. Where did they go?

Watching season finale now still waiting to see if something big goes down not much. My guess if so they will save it for ending. In my opinion, they did not give us any big answers or conclusions. I think they gave us more big questions like what has the power to send a radiant light to a group of people to heal someone? And what has the power to make three men disappear from a lake? What do you think?
