There are shows that I thought would be very good, but after a while, I wished I had not invested time in watching them. Sometimes it was because the show was not what I thought it would be; they did something so disturbing I could not enjoy it; the plot of the show changed; or they killed off my favorite characters. Here are some of those shows.
Black Mirror BoJack Horseman Charmed (reboot) Condor Good Girls Quantico Station 19 The Alienist The Magicians The Resident The Walking Dead Van Helsing

The Young And The Restless would be at the top of my list. I walked away from that show in 2008. My favorite female character is dead and my favorite male character is in jail.
God bless you always!!!

^^^ That is another reason why I walked away. Soaps are nothing but constant repetitiveness and not in a positive way in my opinion.
God bless you always!!!

The Good Place - I was reluctant to put this show on the list because I truly enjoyed the first season and the season finale was great. But after that, it became more and more disappointing to me.

My daughter and I watched The Young and the Restless for many years. I stopped when they recycled the love relationships and I got frustrated. I'm not sure why I quit. Amazingly, when I discovered the show in college I was weird. everyone liked "Ryan's Hope". It was at that time the Abbotts were introduced. I was a fan for several years and finally had to quit because I couldn't watch every day. I did see the tribute to Katherine Chancellor and I follow the summaries to this day. I was also a fan of "The Guiding Light" during college and during the Rick and Beth/Phillip and Mindy years. Seeing those four together in the finale was great. When I got interested, Barry's father on "The Flash" was one half of the popular couple.

The Good Girls for me, sad and pathetic. Day of our Lives, I had to quit watching after the show jump one year ahead and let go of all the vets on there. I also stopped watching Charmed as well.

How To Get Away With Murder was in my top 10 favorite shows for a while. Then, the team members kept turning on each other until it became tedious. I watched the series finale that aired yesterday. Too many of the original team had sad and heartbreaking endings, so I am glad I stopped watching.

"Supergirl" and "MacGyver" for me. There are others, I'm sure.

Supergirl has always been disappointing to me so I guess, technically, I cannot say it became disappointing.
MacGyver is too serious. I am disappointed that the show lost its humor.

The Blacklist was my must-see show and I was always excited to see what Red would do next. Reddington and Elizabeth's relationship is the chemistry that makes the show more than a hero vs villain drama. Then Elizabeth kept betraying Red and now she has openly decided her loyalty is with someone else - against Reddington. I might not watch the next season because I am firmly on Team Reddington.

I thought that the Blacklist should have gone off years ago when the spinoff's started.
