That sure was different from what I was expecting.
Not only are they married but they have two teenagers? And one has powers. We had to wait to find out which one. Naturally it can't be the happy confident one but the depressed one.
And both of Clark's parents have died. Now he has to pay the mortgage. The Planet has let them both go.
Sarah is cute.
Lana works at the bank.
And there is a Kyle and he's not happy.

I saw a biography of Tyler. I wish I could post a link, but I haven't found any of those articles from the local newspaper's TV section. It makes me mad that they decided on more articles and fewer actual listings. But if they didn't have more articles, I might not see them. Another article will show up online this week.
The good news is two different newspapers cover the same area and the missing listings are in the TV section with only one article.

I thought Lois had been fired. I don't blame her for doing what she did and I assumed she'd end up at the local paper anyway. Edge is one of these people who makes big promises and won't deliver.
I was pleased Clark took Jordan to The Fortress. Jordan is coping as well as can be expected, but it's disappointing what Jor-El told him. Jonathan Jr. will not be the star of this football team.
The barbecue didn't go well. I don't like Kyle.
And apparently Captain Luthor, whoever that is, knows a Bizarro Superman.

Tyler and his co-star were presenters last night on The CW. Lois criticized Tyler for saying he played both Clark and Superman. Superman was better looking.

I wonder if there was a black Luthor in the comics. This is the first time I have seen one. When they showed Superman using his heat ray vision on the soldiers, it became clear why Luthor hated him.
I am glad the brothers are supporting each other.
The newspaper irked Lois. She is in angry investigative reporter mode.

Except she's at a paper that doesn't have the money to investigate. Even though she needs to.
I like it that the brothers both play football. After all, Clark did.

I enjoy the story of family man Clark. This Lois and “The Man of Steel” Lois are the only ones I like.
I think Clark should take some coal, make diamonds, and not worry about money. No one pays him for the work he does.

No one pays him for the work he does. You did see MacGyver make a diamond for Desi, didn't you? I actually don't like this Lois. I like Teri and Erica but not Margot and I don't even remember the one with George Reeves. I do like seeing Clark as a family man. Not sure why i posted the Malcolm X glasses bother me. I'm used to seeing Tyler with them.

This is the last one for a while. COVID-19 is the reason.
Lois has a stalker who we know is Captain Luthor but he's not telling her his real name. And she's not the real Lois. He's not the real Superman.
What a shame about that pretty building.

They're back, but I'm not happy.
I was hoping for something lighter but this is as bad as "Supergirl" right now.
Jonathan shouldn't have gotten hurt like that.
And we now have X-Kryptonite. Oh, goody.

Things are getting somewhat better but this still isn't the show I wanted.
Jonathan can't explain his wrist or tell the truth about Jordan.
Amazing that they got there in time. I still can't tell whether that truck is a '70, '71 or '72 but maybe it has to be hard to tell because they destroy so many of them they need to have all three.
Now we know who "Captain Luthor" is. We still don't know why there's an evil Superman.
Lana is working for the enemy but at least she can keep an eye on things. Kyle may soon be working for the enemy as well.
And Lois is finding out a lot about her story.

Still not what I was hoping for. I would have been happy with the episode except for two things. Jonathan was locked in the RV with seconds before he was to be killed and Lois couldn't get in. That's too much to put us through. Oh, but of course they make it possible for Superman to get there just in time and figure out what was going on.
And then Lois is crying in therapy.
Other than that, it seemed to be a lighter episode. Well, except for the military using torture. I especially liked Sarah and Jordan together and the audition.

I am enjoying the boys’ stories although they are on different paths. Neither son has what they want but they have time to adjust.
I did not enjoy Lois yelling mean things to Jonathan but they made peace later.

This show just keeps getting worse.
The general can't act fast enough so Clark has to take Jordan to the Fortress, or else.
And then the soldiers attack the Kents.
I wish this could be the lighter show that Dean Cain starred in.

I am still interested in what is happening. I thought Jonathan would have gotten some powers by now.
I noticed Lana reacted with surprise at the way Superman said her name as if something was familiar.
It seems Kal-El’s brother terrorized all of Europe into keeping his actions a secret. That makes no sense.

It has been nearly a week since I watched this so I can't remember what even happened.
Lana volunteered to go into the machine and be transformed because it was the only way to make everyone normal again. I remember that much.
Sarah was happy her father was with her on stage and Jordan apologized for not being there, but that was okay.

A lot of Kal-El’s history has been covered. Now we are seeing how he was forced to accept the dark side. I did not expect anything that serious this soon.

I wish this could be the lighter show that Dean Cain starred in. Everything I was hoping for happened. But it happened too fast. And now they're going even darker and that's not good.

Enjoyed all of the episodes. I like the way Superman’s family worked together to save him.
Diggle showed up with some Argus technology and was unhappy that it might be used against Superman.
It is a miracle Lois is still speaking to her father but I am glad they are understanding each other.

I forgot to mention Diggle when he was on "The Flash". I was pleased he didn't want what he brought to be used against Superman.
I was really worried because it was beginning to look like Superman wouldn't recover.
The treatment of Lana and her family made me think about the WB and CW boards. I was happy they had a sense of humor about it once they were cleaning up. Lana's younger daughter was actually unaware of any of this. Where has she been?

Much better this week. I enjoyed watching the teens being rebellious but why did Jordan and Sarah get arrested?
Jonathan's new girlfriend is hot.
I don't blame Lois for not telling all to her newspaper. But that had consequences.
Superman did the right thing making it possible for him to be controlled, though is putting John in charge of that really a good idea?
Morgan is on the loose and we won't know what that means for weeks.

I enjoyed the episode. I feel sorry for Lana’s family.
Clark confessed he was tempted by the power he felt and that there should be a way to control Kryptonians.
Edge has transformed into something else.

That was an exciting ending but it sure looked hopeless at times.
I thought we were going to get away without a cliffhanger but then that happened.
Okay, not a new crisis after all.
John Henry had a hammer in his hand!

Very exciting episode.
Where has John Henry’s daughter been all of this time? I wonder how she will fit in the story.
It seems like both brothers will have happy relationships with the girls they like.
Edge is not dead. We might see more of him.

I don't know what happened. I thought I was recording whatever was on The CW at 8 but I just did that once so I could start a season pass, which is what TiVo used to call recording every episode of a show. That's now called a One Pass. And of course I never got around to transferring all my One passes to the new TiVo. I think there's a way to do that. But what I've been doing is recording manually and then starting a One Pass once the episode has recorded. I haven't figured out how it's supposed to work.
I thought this show would air at the same time as it always has but "Naomi" was in that slot last week. I have the TiVo set to record whatever is on at that time.
I just assumed "Naomi" was two hours last week, but I couldn't stop wondering if the season premiere of this show was supposed to be last week. This week I saw "previously" and there were some details that didn't look familiar.
Lana as mayor? I supposed it's possible. In a town that small, mayor is unlikely to be a full-time job. it's not even a full-time job in Charlotte, which is as big as Baltimore used to be. Most towns that size have a "town manager" or "city manager". That's what Charlotte has. The mayor is just a city council member who makes public appearances.
Clark's brother was not to be trusted. We knew that would be true. I thought his mother was Teri but I looked back at the guest cast and she wasn't listed.
Something's causing those earthquakes. We aren't sure just what it is yet. And the inspector or whatever she was seems to be hoping for bad things to happen.
I'm not clear on what Lois' status is. She was described as a partner. Whatever she is, there is a problem with trusting her now. Someone she interviewed changed their story. I don't see that as a problem. But it is.

I'm not enjoying seeing Clark have so much difficulty. However, some scenes look just like any other family drama where the parents are having trouble getting their children to do what they want.
Jordan should not tell Sarah. I think it's a good idea to not make any kind of commitment until they know they will be together as long as a year.
Natalie can play football?
That woman doesn't want to help John Henry. The steel drivin' man was tapped in that mine.
