Ok, so anyone who knows/remembers me from the old (REALLY old) CW boards knows there was one character that I glowed over like no other. One who has fallen on....let's just say hard times to say the least.

I recently have transferred from my local community college to a fairly prestigious school. A school in which I just enrolled in a class today that started today just to try to "fix" my financial aid.

And as I was listening to the professor a classmate asked a question, I only half listened but I knew that voice. Then she smiled, and it was THAT smile. Arguably the most distinctive smile on Smallville. The smile that broke into tears in "heat" after confessing her love to Clark and his only response was "lana".

Then I checked the name to be certain and it was without a doubt in my mind the one and only Allison Mack.

I'm still floored, and shocked and everything. I wasn't planning on keeping this class, but now I'm not so sure. As much as my inner fanboy wants to try to talk to her that's not what either of us were there for, and she has enough on her plate. It was enough just to see her and know it's actually her...and then to come report it to you instantly of course.

I don't think she had been in prison. On house arrest last I checked. But she's starting at the same school as me. She dropped the class I had with her though. I did get to talk to her a bit, but I just treated her like a regular person. With everything she's gone through it probably wouldn't make her feel good remembering Smallville. Things might never be that good for her ever again.

But for a brief moment in time she knew who I was and we went back and forth and had a regular conversation. That's enough to make me happy.

I sincerely hope, despite all that happened, Allison is working on herself, to make herself a better person.
