Don't try reading it yet because it's really a mess. The second list is what I copy into the top list this week, but it's easier to copy the presidential debate ratings when I have a list that has those. And I discovered a mistake that was three weeks old. I had two shows out of order, though they were next to each other. If you see a number on the left, chances are it's not this week's. In fact, only the CBS late game has the correct number (and that's for the whole game, not the last 40 or so minutes) because "60 Minutes" got a really high number (the candidates were interviewed and I understand there was a big controversy over Trump releasing something unedited). NBC's game was competing with the World Series.

And on the subject of those two games, nothing is listed for 7:00 and I don't guess anyone really cares. Supposedly there was a pre-game show of some sort that didn't get listed.

There is a Saturday pre-game show for the World Series but only three minutes of it was in prime time so I didn't list it. Prime time starts an hour earlier on Sunday.

ABC's Sunday game shows, and Especially "Card Sharks", have started going "Lower! Lower!"

For The CW, Penn & Teller have brought back the magic. They're tied for number one because of how I round the numbers and listed first because they're first alphabetically. "Whose Line" is doing better on Sundays and the second episode gets a better number than the first for some reason. That happens to "World's Funniest Animals" too but that's a rerun!

NBC's game shows, except "The Wall", just did reruns on Saturday, so that explains that.

For the debate I didn't use the names that the site did. And I don't know what to say about the name of what preceded the debate on NBC so I called it "News special". NBC and ABC both did really well and CBS should have done like Fox, which had football. I don't know why it really matters since there are no commercials during the debate, and only a few seconds of commentary that distinguishes one network from another.

Each World Series game was preceded by a pre-game show that lasted anywhere from three to six minutes after prime time began, so those pre-game shows are not listed. Does anyone really care about the post-game show after the Monday Afternoon Football game (the game itself did really, really well)? The game did little to help the shows that followed.

CBS should move "Manhunt" to Saturdays. Both episodes tied (the way I rounded) for slightly better than Mondays. I don't know whether it should have been identified as "Crimetime" but the site didn't use that name or the one it has been using for reruns of crime shows.

I forgot to include the numbers for the debate on the cable channels. And I messed up three weeks ago because I was listing the numbers for the target audience, not total numbers, which were spectacular for cable channels.

For Fox News, 15.4 and 12.1 for analysis. For CNN 7.5 and 5.3 for analysis. For MSNBC 6.9 and 6.6 for analysis.

I'm going to edit the numbers from three weeks ago, and for the VP debates as well, so I won't get the threads out of order.
