I need to explain a few things, and I can do that before I finish.

I didn't pay attention to the actual title of any program if it appeared to be about the election. I just called it "Election coverage" and identified the network and the night. Furthermore, the programs that were interrupted for election coverage on Saturday were treated as if they were over in some cases and the election coverage appeared to last the rest of the night. On those networks where this happened, the number for the sports broadcast is for the entire broadcast, not just what happened after 8:00. In the case of Fox, a post-event broadcast started after 10:00 and prime time is supposed to end at 10. It didn't matter since when rounded, the number remained the same.

This site actually left several shows out on Sunday night. All the pre-game shows were left out from the list of NBC shows, so I had to go to the preliminary ratings. These were not exactly the same where I could compare. The numbers were for hour or the half hour, while when the pre-game shows are listed, they start at 7:30, 7:52 and sometime after 8. Furthermore, they showed that "Card Sharks" was not on. Because of an unfortunate event related to game shows, ABC had the opportunity to go "Higher! Higher!" at the end of the nigh instead of "Lower! Lower!" Fox's animated reruns were also left out. So was "Whose Line". "Pandora" is improving but not as much as the preliminary number would suggest. Both "Whose Line" episodes were listed as if they were one hour-long episode, so I just treated them that way.

And now it's time to add the numbers. I also have Tuesday's election coverage on cable, if anyone is interested. For the three hours of prime time:

Fox News 13.3 8pm, 14.5 9pm, 14.4 10pm
CNN 9.2 8pm, 9.7 9pm, 9.3 10pm
MSNBC 7.6

It looks like almost everything is a rerun. On The CW, it looks like it but I suspect many of those episodes are new. I'm really surprised at the Sunday night numbers for CBS once the scripted shows start, especially given football as a lead-in. I guess "LA" was getting numbers this high before but "NO" drops off quickly. I have to conclude the original "NCIS" is what they mean by "NCIS Classic", which is obviously a rerun.

"Shark Tank" did not benefit from swapping places with "20/20", especially with the episode cut short by election coverage. On the other hand, ABC did a little better in those last few minutes.

"The Good Doctor" was surely doing better before, though it is in the green zone with over-50 viewers.

If it wasn't clear before, "Filthy Rich" is bankrupt. How the animated comedies survive with similar numbers I don't know but it must be about the target audience. I don't look at that because 3Sheets always posted the total numbers and that's all I care about.
