I had to come here early this week, and the weekend numbers aren't ready. So that will come later in the week.

I am curious why this site does ratings from during the day and late night only on Saturday when I'm sure many of us would like to know what the New Year's Eve specials got in their final hour.

RuPaul on The CW? This was explained. I happened to see a description of what was happening on cable and the show aired on many different stations, but it got respectable numbers on its "home network". Naturally, they don't tell us total numbers but only give us the target audience for comparison. I'm going to go back and check the main list because it may have the total numbers.

RuPaul didn't actually get spectacular numbers, but on cable that's to be expected, I guess.

Only one episode of a TV series that wasn't labelled a rerun (that could be wrong), and that was on The CW. Last place.

Call her Kat? Call her a big success! Fox went "south" from there.

NBC's numbers for Sunday, except for the game itself, are preliminary. Both CBS and Fox had a late game and, as usual, the entire game's number, and not the part after 7:00, is shown. I could use the preliminary numbers from just prime time.

And that's it for this week. I plan to be here Tuesday and the ratings should be too, with no holiday. Even though yesterday was Christmas, only a few people celebrated.

Wednesday night's final numbers are out and it looks weird. I can already tell you "The Masked Dancer" got terrible numbers but it's not labelled a rerun. The CW might as well have taken the night off. I've never seen such low numbers on a Wednesday. Yes, apparently everyone was watching coverage of the Electoral College vote and related events. But not that many on broadcast TV, except on NBC. CBS had sitcom reruns. And only "Sheldon" got numbers that one would expect. Joining the news coverage late hurt CBS.

Since I have the numbers, I will just go ahead and tell you how many watched on the news channels, and it was phenomenal. Not one broadcast network got the numbers CNN and MSNBC did.
