It took me a while to get here. I had everything ready to go, and then I just got distracted.

So far the second week of the Olympics has fallen far short of the first week.

I have access to Sunday night's numbers even though I won't post them until next week because of all those weeks of leaving out Saturday.

"Wellington Paranormal" set a record and when rounded actually gets a 0.3. "Dead Pixels" gets a 0.2 only when rounded.

And assuming there were closing ceremonies, those got an 8.8. Not good.

A couple of things.

I think the person who posts the ratings was being sarcastic. It wouldn't be the first time. I checked and William and Kate have been married 10 years. Perhaps it was a rerun of their anniversary special. I'm not about to try to look up what actually aired because that is just a nightmare once the date has passed.

I don't know how NFL games are supposed to work but sports events on this site get the same number for each hour while they are on. This site appears to show two separate hour long events called "NFL". There's not even anything during the 10:00 hour, which is the normal practice for a three-hour event. NFL games last 3 hours. Nevertheless, this is what I have.

I don't know how serious errors like this don't get corrected. "S.W.A.T.", rerun or not, did not have as few people watching as "Dead Pixels" a couple of weeks ago. Based on the preliminary number, I believe the decimal point was moved incorrectly and that's what I'm going with.

And "Dynasty" fell back once again. They had a funeral! Stunt programming is supposed to increase the audience.

Things are looking much better for The Olympics. I should have started early in the week.

Reruns are really getting low numbers for the most part.

But someone please explain why "Love Island" comes back year after year.

There were two separate numbers for The Olympics on Thursday, as you can see. One night's broadcast was exceeded by something on another network.

Don't be fooled by "Dead Pixels". it was by far in last place, but because of rounding it looks like it did a lot better than it did. The two shows that tied were almost at the point they could be rounded up to 0.3. With two digits beyond the decimal they would have been. Some sites did that.
