A couple of corrections to last week. One was a typo and one was a show which was tied using one digit after the decimal but not in alphabetical order.

As you might expect, The Olympics are getting the big numbers, though not as big as I would have expected. I don't do Sundays the same week any more so I'll tell you this week that Sunday's coverage had 11 million viewers. I promise to give you the Super Bowl numbers next week, even though they'll be in the rankings a week later.

The Chocolate Showdown is not so great, and "Big" Brother? Not really.

Looks like interest in "Celebrity Big Brother" fell off sharply from the first night, when the total was exactly the same as for "The Amazing Race" even three digits beyond the decimal.

I checked the commentary on the web site and for the opening ceremonies, I was right. For the 18-49 audience which is all they think matters, it was off a "dismal" 70 percent from four years ago. And for Saturday the numbers were "frigid". However, "on all platforms" the number was much higher, but no demograpjhic information is provided.

The FBIs are back, at least for one week.

I made one more correction to last week because I left off a network. This was the result of my somehow erasing the network when the show airing at the same timne had been off the previous week.

"March" even dragged down "The 4400".

Betty White was going to be celebrated anyway, but after The Olympics we have to wonder if "Ordinary Joe" will even be back.

And that's it. Look at what the NFC Championship did for "Next Level Chef". That was supposed to be "Monarch". The AFC Championship got 47.9 million viewers in the afternoon.

I was amazed the second of the Horror stories actually went up, after a rerun of a show that didn't have hardly any viewers the first time.

I do need to mention "PBC Fight Night" began before prime time, so the number is for the entire show.

I won't have time to do this until Thursday. And the numbers now run from Sunday through Saturday, not Monday through Sunday like before last summer when Saturday was left out on the various web sites I was using at the time. When 3Sheets started doing this, there were places you could go to see the Monday through Sunday numbers.

But I know everyone wants to see Sunday's numbers so I'll post them right now. Since people may want to see how the competition did, I'll look at another site next week when I do the numbers. But my usual site has decided no one cares what any other networks did Sunday night.

Before game coverage started at 6 P.M. there were 6 hours of pre-game shows whose total viewers started out at 3.7 million. By 5:00 that was up to 20.5 million, and from 5:30 to 6 32.4 million were watching. The Kick-Off Show had 59.5 million viewers, the Pre-Kick show 78 million, the game itself 99.2 million (that's the first one which will be included in prime time, though it started 30 minutes early) and the post-game show 54.1 million. Olympics coverage after that had 21.3 million viewers. Those three will likely be the top three shows in two weeks.

You know what? I couldn't wait. "Two Sentence Horror Stories" on The CW set the all-time record low for any program on the five networks listed since I've been doing this. BELOW one hundred thousand viewers. Rounded, both episodes got 100,000, but the second got slightly over. "March" was also at 100,000 viewers when rounded.
